Artist Spotlight: ACACIA
Acacia were a band from London, Ontario, Canada. They existed in one form or another from 1996-2011. They were a group of guys from the Southern Ontario hardcore scene with one label released record, their first, called UNTUNE THE SKY, on GOODFELLOW RECORDS. Over time their sound slightly changed but was always heavy. I’ve compiled five songs from three of their records for this set. From UNTUNE THE SKY, BAKER STREET, and OUR OWN. They played my old radio show, HARDCORE STILL LIVES!, on CHRW 94.9 in the late 1990’s.
