Analogue Painting Challenge Anti-Hero Bonus Round - Judge Dredd

Out of my comfort zone for this entry into the Analogue hobbies Painting Challenge.
I had to paint up a Anti-Hero, which I though was a bit difficult for a historical figure. I did toy with the idea of painting Galloping Hogan...who??, click here to find out??
But in the end I dug deep into the unloved leadpile and came out with this Mongoose Miniature. I've  actually got two Judge Dredd figures, I was going to paint the figure below......
Judge Dredd 2

but after I undercoated him, I dropped the bugger on the floor and he bounced behind
my table........he's still there now!
So plan B was set in motion and I painted up the other figure.

I must admit I did quite enjoy painting something different and he'll soon be
winging his way across the Atlantic as well, as he's going to be my payment to Curt for
joining in the madness that is the Challenge. He'll be accompanied by last years entrance
fee figure, Cowboy Curt, which I found the other month!, all wrapped up in a box with
some of the Lord of the Rings figures I painted last year!!!
So if you haven't already get on over to the Bonus Round page
and cast your votes for your favorite.

Lastly I thought I'd add this pic to the post, I found it on Facebook..
Oh how true is this???
