After taking all the photos of Partizan, I didn't get much time to spend my hard earned dosh, but I gave it a bloody good go!
Above you can see, some wagons and loads from Warbases, some Bolt Action dice that I picked up from the Market, Draft horses from Iron Gate Studios and couple of tents and horses again from the market and finally a set of counters for Sharp Practice that Rich Clarke gave me and Lee for free!!!!
Magnetic bases and sheets from Coritani, I wish I'd magnetized my Retreat from Moscow figures beforehand, but I'll be sticking these under there bases and I'll no doubt heed a million more!
Finally and my first purchase of the day. Musket and Tomahawks and the supplement Shako's & Bayonets, just incase me and Lee totally break Sharp Practice??
Well that's my selection of loot, for Partizan this May.

That is a very fair haul Ray and some really useful stuff too.
ReplyDeleteI think so too, Donnie.
DeleteI quite love those trees and hedges, I’ll have to see if there’s anything like that on this side of the pond.
ReplyDeleteThere nust be somekne out there selling that kinda stuff, Joe?
DeleteGood looking haul. I like the enclosures from Treefella
ReplyDeleteYes, they will come in very handy!
DeleteDecent collection of goods from the show! Trees looks especially nice.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, I need to build up a forest!!!!
DeleteSome nice stuff Ray interested to see what the new M&T is like. I played the original and enjoyed parts of it, but generally have found Rebels and Patriots a better set of rules ?
ReplyDeleteI had the old version as well, but never really played it, but quite like the idea using them for the Napoleonic Wars, anyway, its only if we don't break Sharp Practice with our oversized armies???
DeleteA nice haul there Ray, glad you had a bit of time to splash the cash!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Keith. Taking the photos and chatting to people took a long time!!!
DeleteI think you came away from it with a good haul.
ReplyDeleteI was pleased with the loot, Alex!
DeleteA lovely haul and I recognise those Sharp Practice tokens. I'm fairly sure they are printed here in Australia
ReplyDeleteThey look like Battlefield Accessories product, but perhaps not. Either way, they are very nice.
DeleteNot sure tbh? But I do own a few of the Battlefield buildings, I bought them at Salute last year (I think), but they're still in their cellophane wrapper!!
DeleteNice haul, not seen the limber horses before, review time Ray!
ReplyDeleteCheers
Matt
Hopefully I'll get them painted up soon, after I finish the decorating that is!!!
DeleteGreat stuff Ray!
ReplyDeleteCheers Michal!
DeleteDo you buy trees at every show? :-) Not that is is a problem, one of wargamers' main principles is "You can never have enough trees".
ReplyDeleteYes Shaun, I've finally got my own proper wargaming room after 30 odd years, so I've gotta buy my own forests in multiple scales!!
DeleteGreat haul Ray!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill!
DeleteGreat loot, Ray!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean.
DeleteGreat purchases Ray. The magnetic bases are a great idea for retrofitting already based units.
ReplyDeleteThey are Ben, I'd like to refit my whole collection, but it'd take years and I'd have to remortgage!
DeleteI picked some stuff up from the Tree Fella, I looked at those small trees, he only had the brown ones on display (and this was very early on) and so passed … now I am kicking myself! :-)
ReplyDeleteI bought mine late in the day, perhaps he restocked? I didn't see any brown trees either?
DeleteDecent and useful purchases, Ray.
ReplyDeleteCheers Rich!
DeleteYou managed a decent haul there Ray.
ReplyDeleteYeh, I'm quite pleased with my winnings!
DeleteI'll be interested to see how you get on with Muskets and Tomahawks. I bought V2, redcoats and tomahawks and shakos and bayonets when released. I have just turned my attention to them now. It all looks very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI've not had a chance to look at them yet?
DeleteImpressive haul Ray, I do like the splendid fields/enclosures!
ReplyDeleteYeh, I thought they'd come in handy.
