I Quit Smoking 18 Years Ago Today

I thought it was funny when the conversation about smoking cigarettes being "cool" again reared its head last week, as I was prepping for this annual post I've been doing for eighteen years now -- if you look it up this conversation pops up about every two years and everyone acts all outraged again. And as I say every year -- smoking is bad for you! I am glad I quit eighteen years ago today! And yet I also think that it's undeniable that it just looks cool -- it's erotic, it's cinematic, it's literally "bad for you" as I just said and I'm of the mind that we'll stop being human beings when we stop romanticizing nihilism. We're always gonna be attracted to the "bad boy" archetype, even when it's Gina Gershon in Bound. (Hell especially when it's Gina Gershon in Bound.) 

Anyway I make some form of that argument every single year so's I can justify this post. Eighteen years of them now! That's wild. And no I don't miss smoking in the slightest, even if I one thousand percent understand the sould-crush that the kids are feeling so they're picking up the cancer-sticks again. I'm not judging anybody -- I get it y'all. The world's on fire -- you might as well lean in and light some drugs up off of it. I guess Michele Morrone must've gotten jealous of the attention that his Another Simple Favor co-star Henry Golding's shower scene got and decided to one up Henry's perfect bouncy bum with this (admittedly shadowy) full-frontal photo in the recently released Dolce & Gabbana book that's nothing but Michele smut. this is a kind of battle we can get behind. That said they should probably wrestle, in the shower, in front of many cameras, to work it out. Make slow soapy erotic love not war, boys!

Looks like there's some sexy Y Tu Mama shit going down on the second season of The Night Manager, if these just dropped photos via Vanity Fair are anything to go by. That's the series' lead Tom Hiddleston on the left with actress Camila Morrone in the center and our boy Diego Calva on the right, and do note how he's getting a little manhandled by Tommy. You can see Diego clearer in the photo below. Any fans of the first series of this show? I liked it a lot but I will probably have to go back and re-watch it, I remember very little except for Tom Hollander trying to eat Tom Hiddleston's dick inside a restaurant. You don't forget that sorta thing.

Hey you people, happy Monday -- I'm back from an early morning screening at NYFF and figured since it's Noon-ish when I'm sitting down I could get away with a late "morning" post for those lucky people out there who get to sleep in. Me I've been running non-stop for days, weeks, months, I have no idea any more. But there new photos of Italian stallion Michele Morrone made themselves known to me over the weekend and they compliment that big batch I dropped back in June...

... especially the gay-ish ones, which I also shared a few of back then. Anyway these fresh ones are probably here right now because a book of photos of Michele is coming out in October, one I imagine to be stuffed with way more of this sultry goodness. Good Morning, Gratuitous Michele Morrone

Italian actor Michele Morrone of 365 Days Netflix smut infamy has been doing a very good job raising his beefcake standing lately because this is now my second post on him in as many weeks and I don't feel dirty about it at all. Okay maybe I do feel dirty but just because he's making me think dirty thoughts -- it's not because those movies were trash anymore! More recently he was in paul Feig's A Simple Favor sequel -- playing gay! -- but given I was extremely distracted by Henry Golding's beautiful butt I didn't pay poor Michele much mind there. No more! 

He's grabbed the mic back! And he's got plenty of work lined up -- most importantly and surprising nobody he's been hired by gayest-straight-man-working Guy Ritchie  for a couple of episodes of the second season of The Gentlemen series opposite Theo James. And that show, despite Guy Ritchie, absolutely rules. And -- also surprising nobody -- other-gayest-straight-man-working Paul Feig booked Michele again for his adaptation of the bestseller The Housemaid with Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried. (Also sexy Brandon Skelner!) 

Point being it's a good time to be an obscenely gorgeous Italian man -- who knew? Who could have guessed? Well to the benefit of us all Dolce & Gabbana did and they hired him for their most advertising, and now they are releasing a fancy hardcover book of the photos and outtakes in September, and some of those images are what you're drooling over here in between my ramblings. Even the one on his chest -- something about a parade? What is happening? Perhaps they're not for me to understand. They're a secret message to someone else. And yet! Which is Hotter?

Well yes I should have done this with my earlier post this morning of 365 Days star Michele Morrone on his lonesome, but... well I didn't. But I also don't think any of you will complain about the double-dipping. Above Michele is seen with Simone Susinna, his co-star in Netflix's just-released sequel to their soft-core smash, this one called 365 Days: This Day which... ugh what a terrible title. But by all accounts the film is terrible as well, so it's fitting. Not terrible though are these two men, who are just grotesquely handsome. It's honestly disgusting how handsome they are. I hate them! And yet...

... I have other far more complicated feelings and thoughts as well. Okay, that's a lie -- these thoughts are not complicated. But they are unruly! Anyway I'm never going to watch these movies, but that doesn't mean we can't ogle the boys a bit while also making it a fun competition -- perhaps they'll hear about this and they can wrestle for us? Not to make any difference in the poll, of course. Just... to wrestle, for us. I just want them to wrestle, dammit!
