 First up 3x60mm figures

these figures are from Probos games Mutant Chronicles Warzone they a a pleasure to paint

These guys were given to me By Victor Cina who is also in this competition.

He sent me a box of figures to paint and give away, I decided to paint these guys

and send them back to him as a gift, the reason I haven't done the basing more is they will

need to travel and I don't want them to get broken.hope you like them Victor

so 37 x 5 is 185 point plus

3 x 60mm I think is 30 points

total 215

Well Kent, this is the last time I get to say this but: Dang, man you are a painting machine. I struggle to get 20 measly little 28mm figures done in 2 weeks and look what you have churned out! Those troll-types really look smashing, wouldn't everyone like to get figures painted as well as these? The poses are great too and you have enhanced that by very good basing. Now those Continentals look very good as well. Is this going to be your new "Napoleonic" project? Come on folks let's start another bet: how many AWI troops will Kent be able to finish before the Challenge ends? Anyway, I am honoured to have been allowed to minion for you and proud to have someone in the Tuesday Crew standing on the first place of the Score Standings well done Kent! 

From: KentG - Napoleonic 28mm French skirmishers & Old Guard (625pts)

First up this week we have all the skirmishers from the nine boxes of infantry that I've been working through, strange thing is I've never done skirmishers before which is a bit weird 

so for a bit of a laugh I've done them three different ways.

 There are Front Rank, Warlord Games, Perry miniatures as well as Victrix in this post.

 First up 4 larger stands, I just like the idea of these larger groupings.

 Always loved the look of French light infantry but man, did I have to work hard 

to get all that piping done!  It just seemed  to take forever, but it is really worth the extra time and effort.

 Then 6 bases with two minis per stand.

 Then just a heap of singles.

 Then, on Thursday, I decided I needed to have more figures done so I started

the box of old guard that I had on the shelf. At first I thought: ok I'll just wack a few coats on

and they will be right, but as per normal once started I couldn't help myself

and found in the end I've  added all the extra highlights.

So between the Old Guard  and skirmishers we have 125 x 28mm figures

for a total of 625 points

I won't say it I'll let the GIF speak for itself. Your Napoleonic escapades are a true inspiration Kent, I am still gobsmacked at your pace and output. These light infantry of yours are just awesome, I love the way you have played with the grouping/ basing of them. I can't wait to see what you come up with for the remaining days of the Challenge. From: KentG - )28mm Napoleonic infantry, the imp,38mm Samurai, Carthaginian Elephants & 110mm Praetorian Behemoth, (420 points)

Hello everyone well this entry is quite a mixed bag of figures

covering a wide rage from ancients to sci-fi. It's been a busy painting week this week but a fun one so I hope you enjoy my efforts.

  
Ok first up we have 10 stands of French infantry 60 figures in total

and I must say I'm pleased to say that this is the end of the line infantry.

I've started the skirmishers so there will be more to come, but not line infantry yippee! One of my aims was to complete these figures in the challenge. 

Second up is the imp, this figure was part of the Goliath and imp boxset from the 

Warzone chronicles a nicely detailed figure and fun to paint

The next entry is once again from the Warzone collection

samurai these guys are 38mm so a little bigger than I'm used to but the detail on them is quite fine so probably harder to paint than the 28mm I've been doing.

 This next batch are part of the Carthaginian job that I started at the beginning 

of the competition and are the first two of four elephants that I have to do.

 I have learnt heaps as I did them and I'm looking forward to the next two.

And then we have the Praetorian Behemoth this chap is 110mm high

and I really enjoyed painting it. The client wants the skin grey instead of reddish 

and he wants all the bases bare as he isn't sure how he wants the collection based yet.

Now for the challenge of working out points, I'm going to need help I think

60 x 28mm French 300 pts

1x 28mm imp 5 pts

5x 38mm samurai i think 6 points each = 30 pts

not sure for the 2 x elephants i know three crew 30pts plus elephants ?

1 x 110mm Praetorian Behemoth 20 Points

Total of 420

That's right folks! Just when you think he cannot flabbergast you more, he just goes and does this: a few Frenchmen, an Imp, a couple of elephants and a BEHEMOTH?! While the French are superbly done I would like to have a closer look at the rest of the figures in the entry. The Imp is very well done, but that said Warzone surely have a different outlook on what I would call an Imp, to me it looks more like a ghoul or zombie. Not withstanding that the painting is very good mind you. The elephants usually go for 30 points with crew included, but for the extra detailing you've done on these I am going to reward you some bonus points.For the Samurai I am going with your estimate of 6 points each, they are after all somewhere in between the 28mm and 40mm range. The Behemoth is 110mm so pointswise he's the equivalent of 2 54mm figures i.e. 20 points. These will be added tonight. Cheers Sander

From: KentG - 28mm French infantry (600 points)

 Hi Guys trying to get this loaded while a cyclone is going for it outside ,

 I need to go get my wife. As you can see once again I've gone mad

with the French this time we have five companies of line and light infantry.

It was a real push this week didn't think I'd get the completed to be honest but really pleased I did

so 120 x 28mm at 5 points for a total of 600 points

Dang Kent! What have you done? 600 points worth of French Napoleonics?! That is mind- blowing indeed. As I said in the opening post this morning: you must need more than one table to display all the French you've painted this Challenge. I really cannot get my mind round how and where you find the time to get all these done, I am mighty jealous of these fabulous figures mate, well done!
