 I have finished the last of the stock of Tiger Terrain buildings for this season . I hope to pick up some more later this year if Stephan who runs it gets back into production .

From DaveD - Normandy buildings - 20 points

 Next job off the workbench are 6 buildings to add to the Normandy town collection . It’s growing nicely with the aim of getting one that about 6x6 . 

These are all by Stephan at Tiger Terrain. Again I took the opportunity to pick up some bombed out pieces. For that classic Normandy look .

All together , around 20 points I reckon 

Progress on the town building so far . More to do on gardens , a cemetery a railway station etc . 

From DaveD - Normandy Farm - 20 points

 Next up from me is the first of some more 15mm terrain items for the WW2 collection. More Tiger Terrain buildings - a farmhouse , 2 outhouses , and then a scratch built high wall which is classic Normandy. These are wonderfully cast items and are a real joy to paint . 

I need to pick up some more bits of farmyard detritus at some point , but more than happy with it 

base is A4 MDF sized 

James and Martin of this parish should have fun winkling these beggars out of hard cover 

and with battle damage! - these battle damaged ones were completed last challenge and are a simple swap out job .

From DaveD: 15mm Normandy building (40 points)

The latest work has been adding more of the superb 15mm Tiger Terrain building to the collection.

I have in my head a Normandy town that i want to create - its called St Martin (although MartinC of this parish for who its named is no saint!)  .

   

The "Marie" - or "Hotel de ville"

the town hall building is modelled from the actual one at St Marie du Mont its is a cracking piece - it also has a swappable damaged roof



they all have removable roofs and floors . i have magnetised all of that as well

the out houses are another nice touch i think

with my other already completed bits 

These are brilliantly cast in resin by Stephen for who these are a work of love. No warping , no bubbles etc. I really enjoyed bringing them to life .

I plan to pick up another set of these later this year - as they are available with variable roof, dormer, and shutter options that give a lot of variety. 

Altogether - they are just about 40 points worth

right then - what next - maybe Old Blue might expecting something on his throne ? or is it a peak

Those buildings look great Dave - you've got quite the village now.

From DaveD: Terrain for Normandy [50 points)

I am enjoying cracking on with bits for my 15mm Normandy collection - in fact JamesM , MartinC, myself and few other friends have a large game to play tomorrow using James’s Brits and Germans.

Today’s terrain contribution is a set of resin buildings made by Tiger Terrain. They are wonderfully designed and executed. Great clean, crisp casting work which makes them an absolute joy to paint.

So first up "L'elgise St Martin" - a classic Norman church. The roof and the tower all comes apart for ease of access to the inside and swapping out the tower for a damaged version - it’s had small magnets added to hold it together... I have added a scratch made weather vane to the full tower piece made from piano wire and piece of tape cut to shape and hardened with PVA.

its a good sized piece as the M3 shows.

Next up it's the farmhouse and barn set , with both of them in a damaged state too - again all the roofs are removable with magnets to hold them in place.

really nice cast detailing on this one .

In terms of value it equated to a volume of 2 1/2 terrain cubes so 50 points

Ooh, that's a lovely street of terrain, Dave. That church is a real beauty, especially with the option of swapping in the wrecked bits and the addition of your bespoke weather vane - very, very nice. Tiger Terrain, eh? I get a distinct sense that I'm going to be spending a good bit of time Sunday checking out new vendors. Well done, sir and I hope you guys have a great game tomorrow.
