From MartinC: The Dwarven Hills (720pts)

All tales of fantasy, well those that count, contain tales of dwarfs and their mountainous kingdoms. As I teased last week I have some dwarfs to paint to complete a 35 year old army.

These are Oathmark plastic dwarf spearmen, I have more to make. Simple Saxon style shields

Next a command section, Northstar

Mad dynamic berzerkers from CP models

Original Citadel dwarfs, had these 37 years.

much more recent 2nd hand rifleman

On the diet of dwarfs. There is no scale creep in dwarfs, it's massive leaps for dwarfkind. Why!! Couple of pistoliers, raided the bits box, and a Hasslefree dwarf

A dwarf general on a wolf. I hand cast the body and legs and added arms and head from Oathmark kit. Then gave him milliput chainmail armour

The wolf was old school in the 1980s and used to pull a goblin chariot

Time for a change of pace with some 3D printed machinery

these will be used for gangster and modern games, probably Nam -obviously

Gangsters need mass transit so

a file box is perfect for....

a subway station

the train is from earlier in the challenge

you need a newspaper stand to to get pushed into and a set of stairs to recreate the end of The Untouchables, or the Battleship Potempkin. This one is 14.5 x 10 x 3 inches = 2 cubes

I did mention hills and I built a really big one earlier in the challenge for massive games of Nam, or anything else

this one is much bigger, using 1,2 and 3 inch insulation board. Painted with spray cans and an obscene number of tuft curtesy of Dave

Cover it with Jungle and we are in business

A very lost Turkish WW1 officer wondering how to get down. So this is 2ft wide by 6ft long and a max of 9 inches high. pile it all together and it is 24x24x10 = 26 cubes

Scores on the doors

26 dwarfs on foot = 130

1 mounted dwarf = 10

5 machines = probable 2 each = 10

1 station = 40

1 massive hill = 520  530

gives 720 pts

Well, today is already looking to be a bumper points day for the Tuesday Terrors, maybe even making up for the shortfalls from some of the other crews!

Those Dwarves look like great additions to your collection - is it now complete? Great work on the terrain as well - that filing drawer subway station is a brilliant idea and the machinery looks great - do you remember where you got it from? As for the hill, your maths is slightly off - I make it 26.5 cubes; however, that still keeps your total as 720 points as your maths was also off when you totaled up the scores!

From FranL: Hodge Podge 1 (203 points)........

Got a little mixture going on........

15mm CP Models Mummies......

28mm Legion Rebel Fleet Troopers

15mm Sci-Fi Russians....

15mm Sci-Fi Russian Heavy Mech.....

Another 15mm "Devils Rejects" Gargo Sled.....

15mm "Devils Rejects" Bots.......

15mm CP Models Cultists.........

28mm figures x 7= 35 points
15mm vehicles x 2= 16 points
15mm figures x 76= 152 points

203 points

I think that's right.......

TamsinP:

Mummies! Cannon fodder! Space Russkis! Mechs! Sleds! Bots! Cultists! That really is a hodge podge Fran. Hmmm "Hodge Podge 1" - that suggests that there might be more "Hodge Podge" posts to come over the next few hours...

With all these large posts you are dropping on the last day one might tentatively suggest you have been stuffing sandbags. I blame that feckin' fecker Ray - he's clearly infected you!

That is indeed another 203 points

From FranL: Best Weapons Dealer in the Galaxy (250 points )......

....his product, his protection!

Meet Mr.X the best arms dealer, bot pusher, planet cleansing, bio weapons aficionado in the galaxy, you want it he sells it, buy one get one free, cash only.......

A mixture of manufactures and scales again on the catalogue, Ion Age, Khurasan, GZG, CP Models, FATC.....

Not only his product but his his protection and staff, the galaxy is a dangerous place.......

The man himself in his protective armour.........

Light mechs/walkers.........

28mm gun drones......

101 15mm figures: 202 points
2 15mm mechs: 16 points
4 28mm Gun Drones: 32 points

TamsinP:

Another stonking 15mm SciFi entry from Fran. How many armies is that so far in this Challenge? Quite a few - if they are all fighting each other, there won't be a universe left for them to fight over!

I'm going to score the mechs and gun drones as 15mm vehicles. I think that's fair.

From FranL - 15mm Legion of Ood and 28mm Donnybrook Unit! (639 points)

My Legion of Ood (The Blue Boys) roams the galaxy preaching the writings of Ood and if you don't like the preaching of Ood then they knock the galactic faeces out of you.......

This is a hodge podge of scales, manufactures and technically periods, the majority is GZG, the vehicles are from Armies Armies now The Scene, Khurasan and Heavy Mechs which used to be WH40K Space Marine Dreadnoughts ( I have re-purposed quite a few 28mm GW models for 15mm)....

There is even a 20mm kloth from CP Models fantasy range posing as a religious advisor/leader.......

.....casualties by cutting the bases of some figures and laying them flat!

I must admit the bikes were my favourite..........

The second part is this 28mm unit from Warfare Miniatures for Donnybrook, they will be based by their owner Ray, an absolute arseache to paint but needs must..........

28mm figures (34 infantry, 1 cavalry): 180-25%= 135pts
28mm vehicle/Dreadnought x 3: 60pts
15mm
18 vehicles (including the bikes): 120pts (15 vehicles are 120 points and I'll score the bikes as cavalry for an additional 12 points - Lee)
14 crew-served weapons (I am counting the equipment/ammo handcarts as crew-served weapon but could be wrong): 56pts
128 figures: 256pts

I'd like to thank Bill Bailey for the word and religion of Ood!

Oh my brain...counting this lot gave me an actual headache! All I can say is you have been a very productive boy. I'm guessing it's the slow season in the mud farming business? Time on your hands equals a head-splitting points bomb?!? Nicely done sir....now I'm off to find some Paracetamol.
