Well, once again we made it to Walpurgisnacht-- but can we survive this naughty nacht without getting ourselves burned?! It's gonna be one heckuva Halfway to Halloween fight as Captain Battle swoops in to put a brutal end to some Hellish heathens and their horny wicked ways, from the Feb. '42 issue of Silver Streak Comics #18. But first up, Bob Powell sends us careening down-- down-- down into the flaming caverns of Satan's sizzlin' domain, in an all-time classic Harvey Hit from Hell, via the April 1952 issue of Chamber of Chills #7. THOIA will return after a few days of Mr. Karswell May Day Birthday Recuperayytion, --please stay tombed!

I've been a bit leery about posting Harvey horror stuff anymore since the release of those complete collections, but seriously a week won't go by without someone writing in and asking me to post something by Rudy Palais. So here we go, gettin' some sweat drippin' Death rollin' for November finally... from the August 1952 issue of Tomb of Teror #3.

Nightmare of Doom! + CONTEST

More doom for ya, this time from the January 1953 issue of Chamber of Chills #15-- and dear lord *choke!* it's also featured in HAUNTED HORROR #16 --in stores this Wednesday! Cave of Doom / Turnabout

We interrupt your cozy fall festivities today and plunge headlong into the Hell that is also known as winter. It's coming you know, and sooner than you think! The first tale finishes out our Harvey Comics theme with an Al Avison doozy from the July 1952 issue of Chamber of Chills #10, followed by another blast of chills with a "Flash Forward" Silver Age submission* from Dell's Tales from the Tomb one-shot from 1962. Bundle up kids, or you'll catch your death!

The Little People

Someone's been asking me to post this story for months now but I thought I no longer had it--- when suddenly I remembered that I did have it reprinted in an issue of Thrills of Tomorrow. It’s an okay little Harvey yarn that coincidently matches up perfectly with the Attack of the Puppet People post for today.
