The Subway Terror!

Traveling across state lines to hook up with a minor is absolutely a monster level no-no, but some people have to learn the hard way! Wait a second, that's not what this story is about, --that's the other "Subway Terror" currently serving 15 years in prison. Anyway, the terrors presented in today's post are just as despicably awful, so hang on tight as Mister Mystery himself takes you down down down into an equally low level, where other unseen monsters live among us. Satan's Cellar

Everyone was so smitten by the uplifting spirt and happy ending of the previous post, I've gone way way out of my way to find another tale that was just as positively sweet and full of family friendly fun. So, tell me if I've chosen wisely, dearest THOIA followers, for your pleasure is my one great desire. From the December 1972 issue of Skywald's Nightmare #10.

The Creeping Death

Fans of H.P. Lovecraft's style of modern man facing ancient evil in the form of tentacled terror might enjoy this crazy (and very very sweaty) Rudy Palais tale from the March 1953 issue of Chamber of Chills #16. Metallica fans, you can come on down too... "so let it be written, so let it be done."

The Monster of Zollmort Castle

There's nothing too earth shatteringly unique about today's story from the August - Sept '52 issue of Eerie #8, it's just a super fun, man vs. over-sized monster romp in a haunted castle (where no one listens to the warnings either!), plus, terrific art from the consistently cool, Harry Lazarus.

A. C. Hollingsworth had not one, but two stories featured in the Oct / Nov 1952 issue of Eerie #9 (see our previous post if you missed it somehow), and yes, it's another bit of artistically uneven fun, but this time spiced-up with a little more sexiness-- and a whole lot more weirdness!

HAUNTED HORROR #25 / Fiends from the Crypt

HAUNTED HORROR #25 is in stores this week, and as usual THOIA has a truly sickening FULL STORY sample preview for you-- and this one is guaranteed to tear your flesh off!
