Good Morning, World

It's Monday! Who doesn't love a Monday? Why you ask anybody around the globe what their favorite morning is, it's gonna be Monday. (Set to the tune of "It's Gonna Be Me" by NSYNC of course.) Anyway we're not big on double-dipping but I only recently discovered that there was a longer version of the "Dylan O'Brien baths bare-assed in the sea-shore scene in Send Help" that was included in the extras on the blu-ray, and what, I'm gonna leave those shots un-giffed? Dylan lathering up his soapy torso... 

... will be one of The indelible images of 2026, cut or uncut (editing, I mean editing!) -- make no mistake! For serious though I think this extended sequence, which adds a little extra sexual tension between him and Rachel McAdams' character (instead of staying turned away she turns back and he shows off for her), is useful -- not just because we see more of Naked Dylan, but because it complicates their relationship further and that's always good. Who's up for a morning dip with Dylan O'Brien? I am, I am. And today's your day too because Sam Raimi's absolutely terrific thriller Send Help starring this man here and a tremendsouly bonkers Rachel McAdams (in the "Bruce Campbell in a Sam Raimi Movie" role) is now out on VOD -- and even better it's also available to pre-order on 4K physical media. That lands on April 21st -- not even a month away! Why you could practically bounce a quarter off of that, uhhh, amount of time. Sorry my own gifs were distracting me. Well that's the brief that for this Thursday -- I've gotta run myself to a screening, and I think the above photo of Mr. Dylan O'Brien and the below trailer will give you a good clue what movie I'm seeing. Whee super duper excited for this one! Sam Raimi locked back in sicko mode -- it's been too, too long. More on that in the coming week (ir's in theaters on January 30th) though -- for now just feel free to distract yourselves a little longer from the dreaded real world outdoors by looking at the rest of the photos from the set the one up top comes from. Double Your Dylan, Double Your Fun

I'm so burned out these days I saw that the doubled Dylan O'Brien comedy Twinless had gotten a release date and I remembered liking it at Sundance but I had completely forgotten I'd reviewed it as well. But I did! You can read that right here. I even called it "Tasty Cringe Farce For Sickos" and come on, guys, how is that not on the poster? That's a killer tagline. Whatever. I can only do so much work for you. Anyway they also dropped a trailer so watch that if you feel so inclined:

I assume that most of my audience has already seen the pirated sexytime clips of Dylan O'Brien's sex scenes in his Sundance movie Twinless that have been making the social media rounds because, well, I know my audience! I won't link to them here but I don't think the filmmakers should be upset -- they're the best advertising Twinless could've hoped for. Dylan's ass is gonna get asses in seats! And that's good because Twinless is good -- click on over to Pajiba to read my review of it from the fest. Dark funny stuff where Dylan is hot and gay -- this is why cavemen scribbled on walls y'all!

Dylan O'Brien One Time

This appears to be a bonus outtake from Dylan's photoshoot with Interview Magazine that I posted back in July. That belly fuzziness demands a sharing though, even if I just found the one photo. Let's hope there are more. Thousands upon thousands more! I hope he was shooting this photoshoot for a full month. He does sort of have that sexy Castaway look to him. Newsflash: Dylan o'Brien was trapped on a deserted island for a full month with nothing but reams of photographic equipment and piles of Thom Browne clohtes that washed ashore, and here are the fruits of that experience! Makes perfect sense to me.

I'm always surprised by how little of Dylan O'Brien I've posted here on the site -- not even enough to make it to a second page! This isn't exactly a sensible excuse since there's more than enough of his co-star Tyler Hoechlin here but I never watched Teen Wolf. I think Dylan's just been less of an exhibitionist in the past? Well thankfully he's not being the slightest bit shy in this new photoshoot for Interview Magazine (read the chat here) wherein he's promoting his new movie for Hulu called Not Okay (watch the trailer here) -- they have him modeling this season's swimming shorts and it's all we've been waiting for all these many years! There are two very important movies out this weekend - there is Darren Aronofsky's Mother! (which I'm going to the premiere of tonight - click here if you missed the insane story of how that came about) and there is Mike White's new movie called Brad's Status, which I did not like the trailer for if I'm honest, but it's Mike White so I'm just assuming they cut a bad trailer because Mike White's a genius, full stop. And then there is American Assassin, which stars Dylan O'Brien...

... throttling something underwater, apparently. I don't know, that's from a behind the scenes video Dylan himself shared on Instagram, as are these pictures. I don't have a whole lot of interest in seeing AA, but I will give it this - it does have Dylan doing half-naked pull-ups in front of bookshelves, as we saw in the trailer. Them ain't small pahtaters.

The trailer for American Assassin came out nearly a month ago and I'm sure any of you Teen Wolf fans got your Dylan O'Brien fix from it then, but I only just now got around to watching it myself and why didn't any of you tell me he had a great big bushy beard and worked out shirtless in front of bookcases in it???

I would've watched the dumb thing a month ago if I'd have known that. It looks pretty cheesy, but not as cheesy as that action movie they made starring Taylor Lautner, so who knows. It's got a decent cast - Michael Keaton, Sanaa Lathan, and Taylor Kitsch...

... all co-star. Watch for yourselves

A happy 23rd birthday to Teen Wolf's Dylan O'Brien, whose adorability only came to my attention once he and Tyler Hoechlin started hanging all over each other every chance they got. (I still don't watch Teen Wolf which I know, how is that possible, etc).

Their nomenclature is "Sterek"

As for Dylan he's got The Maze Runner coming out soon, which well I'm a little YA'd out these days, and I'm guessing I'm not alone by how the past few series (The Give-what?) have been received. I've got all I can invest in these sorts of things invested in the last pair of Hunger Games movies, I'm all fresh outta care. Sorry, dude.
