Manny Jacinto Five Times

I considered doing this post as one of our "Fanboy Delusions" posts where I would offer up some vulgar pun about office sex with our dear boy Manny -- here photographed for Harper's Bazaar (via, thx Mac) -- but... well to be honest I couldn't think of a good one. Any suggestions? Let's brainstorm some work-place filthiness in the comments! What, you have something better to do than that? Like what, watch the news? Now that's perverse. Anyway hit the jump for the rest of the photos of the hottest copy-boy ever...

Manny Jacinto Two Times

I still think he's computer-generated.
Come prove me wrong, Manny!

Manny Jacinto Ten Times

Look at that -- okay well look at Manny Jacinto half-naked first. That's why we're here. But that's not what I meant when I said, "Look at that." What I meant was glance to the very bottom of this post where I'm getting to use my "Lindsay Lohan" tag here on the site -- honestly can't believe we even have one of those but we've been around that long! The last time I used this tag was 2021 and that was just to post hot photos of her Canyons co-star Nolan Funk. And that's really what we're doing again here since she's being summoned up BECAUSE Manny is her Freaky Friday sequel co-star...

... and he talks about that in the InStyle interview that's attached to these unbelievably sexy photos. (Good god he is disgustingly gorgeous.) The last time I actually posted about ol' Linds herself was in 2018 for one of our "Beauty vs Beast" series. Anyway, because my opinion matters, I am for one fine with her having a comeback. Especially since it gave us this photoshoot of Manny. Take notes, folks -- this is how you can re-endear yourself to me. (It's real easy.) Hit the jump for the whole hot shoot...

Good Morning, World

Earlier this week when my tweet about People's Sexiest Man Alive pick getting usurped by the men of Vanity Fair's Hollywood Issue went viral the most common source of outrage was the lack of Manny Jacinto anywhere, which yeah, duh! So here is some fresh Manny to sate our thirsts until everybody gets their shit together and starts giving this many the proper sexy respect he deserves. These are from some movie called Balestra -- you can watch the trailer right here -- but I must admit I honestly have no idea where or how you can watch this. I swiped these gifs off of Tumblr. But maybe Paramount+? I don't have that streamer so I can't say for sure. But anyway -- Manny? Manny for all the prizes.

Manny Jacinto Seven Times

Hey everybody! It's my daily pop-in from the middle of my NYFF press screenings -- and since nothing pops quite the way that Manny f'ing Jacinto pops let's pop with Manny, ehh? Manny pops. These are for Vogue Phillippines (via) and good work, Vogue Phillippines. Anyway posting is going to get very dire indeed this week from this point on out -- I'm in screenings all day tomorrow, then it's another half-day Thursday, and then I am off all day Friday again. (Queer! Queer is happening on Friday!) But I think I chose wisely for a person for y'all to "make due" with until i can posrt again proper-like, wouldn't you say? Hit the jump for Manny and still even more Manny...

Manny Jacinto Eleven Times

Not that it's possible to take a bad photo of Manny Jacinto -- as I've said more times than I can count I am sometimes convinced he is a computer-generated special-effect and not an actual flesh-and-blood human being (but if you want to come touch me to convince me otherwise, Manny, I am here and waiting!) -- but he looks super fine in this new photoshoot for Nuvo magazine. I guess we'll have to take these in exchange for stupid Disney canceling his Star Wars series The Acolyte, though I must admit I was part of the problem...

... even when Manny took off his clothes I still didn't watch the show! I kept meaning to but I can't bring myself to get excited Star Wars anymore. I was never the biggest Star Wars person anyway but there's just too much of it right now. Okay I'm not exactly making the case for The Acolyte at this point so I'll shut up. How about that Manny though? Hubba bubba. Hit the jump for more...

On The Knife's Edge

If you're not familiar with Nnamdi Asomugha yet -- he's a former football player turned actor -- then you are probably gonna wanna go ahead and familiarize yourselves with him right now, because Asomugha has just written and directed his first film (as well as acted the lead) and it's very good! It's called The Knife and it's about the immediate aftermath of a home invasion on a black family -- The Knife just premiered at Tribeca and I just reviewed it at Pajiba, read that right here. The film co-stars Aja Naomi King, Manny Jacinto (in a cop uniform), and Melissa Leo, and I think this one will definitely get some attention down the road -- I found it moving and incredibly tense at times; oh and Leo gives one of her best performances in awhile, too. So keep your eyes out for this one and Asomugha too!

Happy InDePlaidPants Day 2022

For the third year in a row I am giving you people something to actually celebrate on July 4th, since the thought of celebrating "America" these days makes anyone with a sane brain break out in hives -- Happy InDePlaidPants Day! Wherein we instead tip our hats toward a bunch of photos of of attractively styled actors wearing this site's namesake pants o' plaid! Okay okay let's not be "controversial" -- you can also celebrate "America" if you want to. I won't smack the sparkler out of anybody's hands. These two things can coexist. I don't want a bunch of mouth-breathing red-hatters deciding to boycott plaid pants or anything. (As if they'd have the fashion capabilities in the first place.)  We're just here for pictures (and to hate Republicans), hit the jump for the pictures (and just hate the Republicans inside of your hearts)...

Sweatin' With Manny

While it's wildly tempting to me to spend the next hour making gifs out of the seven-minute-long video that Men's Health has this month gifted the world with of actor Manny Jacinto working out, I do have other things I need to get to today, so I'm just going to share the video with you.

Okay, I made a couple of gifs. I'm not entirely cruel.
But just a couple! Here's the video:

I might not be cruel but Manny kind of is -- tights, Manny?
Really? Take a page out of Colin Farrell's playbook
-- it's Short Shorts season, babe. Get in the game!

Manny Jacinto Eight Times

The date on this Manny Jacinto piece in L'Officiel Hommes Philippines magazine is last December but I'll be damned if I caught it before Manny himself Instagrammed it today -- no matter, pictures of this unfathomably beautiful come with no expiration date. But speaking of such concepts do I detect a hint of salt-and-pepper in Manny's hair? (click it to embiggen, if you think your eyes can handle of of this) And does this in fact make him even swoonier? If you guessed the answer's "yes" you win nothing because that's the most obvious answer in the history of questions. Or answers! Hit the jump for the full shoot...

A Moment of Manny

Hey, you! In my best Jerri Blank voice, I got somethin' to say! Just a quick heads-up really that I'm distracted with press tickets for Sundance 2022 going on sale this morning. That's where I have been and that is where I will remain for maybe the next hour or so, depending on how it goes. I gift you this gorgeous photo of Manny Jacinto's lithe throat to get you by until that future moment where I return. Enjoy!

Manny Jacinto Twelve Times

Have yourselves a Manny little Monday! Actor and visual astonishment Manny Jacinto is on the cover of this month's Flaunt magazine -- read the interview over here -- which is aptly titled "The Gift Issue" as Manny Jacinto, what a goddamned gift. Hoping more shit-of-note pops up on Manny's IMDb page soon since it remains weirdly scarce; I can't imagine it won't since he was the big take-away from HBO's last Nicole Kidman series, even according to Nicole Kidman herself. Hit the jump for all the photos...

Manny Jacinto Eight Times

The steamroller of our affections for Manny Jacinto keep apace here with this new shoot for Man of Metropolis magazine (via) -- indeed I just realized Manny doesn't have his very own tag here on the site yet and that clearly cannot stand, not at this point where I have posted him a'plenty in the wake of his turns on Nine Perfect Strangers and Brand New Cherry Flavor. When even Nicole Kidman can't stop going on about how everybody was asking her about him in their chat for Interview Magazine you know...

... somebody's bout to blow up big stuff. All he has lined up right this minute is the new Jenny Slate comedy and the long-delayed Top Gun sequel (please let him be in a shower scene across from Glen Powell, please please) but I wouldn't be surprised if he announces ten new projects in the next year. His agent is no doubt a very busy person these days! For now let's make due with these very fine brand new photos here after the jump...

Manny Jacinto Thirteen Times

I think I have no caught back up on Nine Perfect Strangers -- I'd fallen behind during TIFF -- so this new chat in Interview Magazine with actor and beauty Manny Jacinto, who plays Nicole Kidman's right-hand-man on that show, was a treat -- even more so because it's Kidman herself doing the interviewing! It really is a lovely convo, I recommend. As for NPS the show's super trashy but fun, and there are a few actors doing really excellent work on it (the Marconi trio of Michael Shannon, Asher Keddie, and Grace Van Patten,  are my personal faves) -- I know some of you commented before but where do you stand on the show now, if you're watching? Anyway there's lots and lots of Manny to stare at after the jump, let's go do that...

Say it With Manny

What I'm about to write has nothing to do with actor and beauty Manny Jacinto -- although he does serve as a good reminder that I have fallen several episodes behind on Nine Perfect Strangers (I really have been doing nothing from morning to night but watching screeners for TIFF for the past week) -- but why not slap these two photos of Manny alongside it? Indeed.

Anyway I just wanted to take a moment to point out that long-time visitors of MNPP might notice a difference on the site today -- I got rid of the sidebar down below on the right where I logged what movies I'd been watching, and just replaced it with a link to my Letterboxed account. Follow me there! I loved having that sidebar, I really did, but I had gotten terrible at updating it regularly and every time I noticed how far behind I'd gotten I felt angry at myself -- and I noticed it every damn day! That's too much anger. And in the meanwhile I'd fiiinnally taken to Letterboxed and now use it regularly. So why not just bite the inevitable tekno-future bullet? We're so hip, after all.

I will admit that I have one bad Letterboxd habit that I need to break, which is that I log the movies I'm watching as I start watching them, so I don't rate or review things there very often -- our ol' sidebar always had letter grades which I know some of you found helpful, and I'm sorry. I'm sorry, okay! God! Anyway follow me on Letterboxd if you don't, is my point. Also that Manny Jacinto is pretty, but you knew that already.

Manny Jacinto Four Times

Very glad we're finally getting Manny Jacinto into magazines -- these are for Sharp magazine and there's a little chat with him at their site. And listen I know they presumably used "mystical power" in their headline because of his role as a healer type on Nine Perfect Strangers but without that context -- one which never actually comes up explicitly in the interview -- am I nuts that the headline feels borderline racist? It'd be like calling Salma Hayek "spicy" in 2021 -- we find better descriptors now, headline-writers. Anyway hit the jump for two more photos...

Good Morning, World

So has anybody started watching Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu yet? I did, I did. (I haven't seen the latest episode yet though.) It's perfectly fun so far, with some keen moments of performance, but I do feel kind of bad for it coming out right on the heels of the similarly plotted The White Lotus from the genius Mike White, by which anything -- yes even a thing starring Nicole Kidman, Michael Shannon, Melissa McCarthy, Regina Hall, Bobby Cannavale, Luke Evans, and the lovely Manny Jacinto here --  would pale in comparison. It feels much more of a piece with HBO stuff like Big Little Lies or that other Reese Witherspoon show, the one where Joshua Jackson wore tighty-whities. (I never bothered finishing that one.) Serviceable but basically disposable glossy trash. We will see. For now let's enjoy this new sweater-tastic photoshoot of Manny for WWD though, right on after the jump...

Good Morning, World

A happy 34th birthday to the actor Manny Jacinto today -- not that it's any excuse, given how many people I've posted about without ever having seen them in anything, but MNPP's light on the Manny content still, given what I just said; even though I've known who he was for some time (you see that jawline, you take note) I only just watched him in the very first thing this week, Netflix's very fun new horror series Brand New Cherry Flavor (from the creator of the great Channel Zero), which you might have seen me tweeting about over the long weekend.

(There's a whole thread above screaming about Catherine Keener's awesomeness if you click on that tweet.) That gif up top is not from that show, because like I said BNCF didn't have much for Manny to do -- that gif is from some Canadian spy program called The Romeo Section. Have any of you seen it? He was in its entire first season but it's not available to watch here in the States (at least not legally anyway) and so that gif was all I could find (via). I'd love to see the entire scene!

Anyway I think Manny's about to be showing up lots -- that's him on the new Nicole Kidman soap opera Nine Perfect Strangers (well that's what it is, let's be real -- these limited series are just condensed versions of Dynasty at this point), which premiered on Hulu this week (and which also stars Melissa McCarthy, Luke Evans, and Michael Shannon, oh my). I haven't had a chance to watch any of that yet, I have been very busy every night with Fantasia Fest screeners, but the minute I have a minute I will spend that minute on that, I promise.
