Good Morning, World

It's been far too long (five entire years in fact) since we've had a moment to check in with dreamy French-Algerian actor Salim Kechiouche (you probably know him from Blue is the Warmest Color, if nothing else) -- apparently somebody decided to turn Jacques Audiard's 2009 masterpiece A Prophet into a T.V. series? And that's what these are from. Salim doesn't play the Tahar Rahim role (that's a newcomer named Mamadou Sidibé) but then I've no idea how closely this series hews to the movie. If I've got any French readers in the house please fill us in. For now we'll do our thing are stare at Salim being his hot naked self after the jump...

Salim Kechiouche Two Times

This is very clearly an older photo-shoot of Salim Kechiouche (who looks more like this now) but somehow these vintage shots never made it into any of my previous Salim Kechiouche posts, and that shall not stand. I don't have any new Salim news to share -- he appears to be on some French series called Spiral right now but I'm not sure if it's made its way here to the States -- I just wanted to look at him for a moment. Mission accomplished!

Good Morning, World

.
I would say judging by that photo above and the one below that the actor (and frequent recipient of my lustful gaze) Salim Kechiouche is having a very nice morning according to his Instagram -- probably because his new film with director Abdellatif Kechiche called Mektoub, My Love: Intermezzo (I am guessing it's a sequel to 2017's Mektoub, My Love, which I keep forgetting I need to see) is dropping on Cannes today. I guess he's excited about that? I think we all might be. Especially if we looked in the mirror and saw Salim Kechiouche looking back at us. Anyway hit the jump for a couple more photos...

Good Morning, Gratuitous Salim Kechiouche

.
The new film from the director of Blue is the Warmest Color (it's called, pretentiously, Mektoub, My Love: Canto Uno) premiered at Venice this week (see a mention of this on the Tumblr as well) and I was talking to an MNPP reader yesterday who shall remain nameless (you know who you are!) who saw it and he told me that we've got some good gratuitous Salim Kechiouche coming our way, which is always a delight - you may recall that Salim was also in BITWC giving that lesbian romp a surprisingly hefty dose of dickage; here's a post we did at the time.

But hell he's been called on his entire career, all the way back to at least that long lingering shower he took for Francois Ozon in 1999's Criminal Lovers (see below) for such things, so it's good to see he's still up to old tricks here twenty years later. He certainly hasn't aged out of us wanting to look. So let's look. Hit the jump for a totally scattered set of (oft NSFW) pictures from his career starting with 2004's gay fantasia Grand école...

Salim Kechiouche Ten Times

.
I really wanted to actually do a big proper gratuitous post for Salim, I am rocking a serious crush on him these days (he's super cute in Blue is the Warmest Color - I would come out of that movie ogling the dudes) but time as you know is not on my side (at least not for blogging) so til then here's an appetizer. Hit the jump for the rest!
