Last few years i've heard different rumours about unreleased second album "Man, Myth And Music" by World Of Twist, one of the finest madchester bands. I found informations on various sites that work on second album began and there were plans for further touring but problems emerged when Tony Ogden decided that he no longer wanted to sing. This, coupled with creative differences within the band, contributed to the demise of the group.
Accordind to their official site dozens of new tracks were recorded by Tony Ogden and Gordon King during second album sessions.Some had vocals by Tony and some by Viv Dixon (who sang on Sons Of The Stage and the seminal Voodoo Ray), others remained only instrumentals.
Let's hope that one day these tunes will see the light of day. Here is exclusive unreleased track "The Coral Sea" recorded after Quality Street album and played last year by Marc Riley on BBC 6 Music.
