V.A. - Novas Tendencias 2
VARIOUS ARTISTS
Novas Tendencias 2
1991 London Records
Notes :
Fantastic early 90's indie & dance compilation released only in Brazil.
Huge thanks to Heitor for copy of this album.
Novas TendĂȘncias was a radio show, the brainchild of Rio de Janeiro based Brazilian DJ JosĂ© Roberto Mahr. By that time - 1989/1990 - mainstream pop/rock music ruled the Brazilian airwaves. Mahr was the guy showing Brazilians some new tendencies of rock music, especially all that particular sound influenced by acid music, baggy, techno etc. His radio show gained more audience when back in the early 90s they started to live broadcast it since Rio de Janeiro and reached different Brazilian regions.
