Retrospective album that includes all of the 21 original songs that Shine! recorded including their fantastic debut flexi "Millions and Millions" as well as the songs ("Bite the Apple" & "It Could Never Happen to Us") that appeared on the split 12" that they shared with The Bardots in 1989. Aside from these two releases Shine! put out two tape albums, "Shine!" and "Numbrainedeadumbrain", that are very rare. All of the songs (aside from two cover versions) are included in this CD. Fast guitars, and exciting melodies that brings up to mind the earlier Wedding Present and This Poison!, Shine! should have been huge!

Bocca Juniors was a short-lived project formed between the four DJ/producers (Andrew Weatherall, Terry Farley, Pete Heller, and Hugo Nicolson) at the heart of the Boy's Own Recordings label. They only released two singles: 1990's "Raise (63 Steps To Heaven)" and 1991's "Substance". Both featured lead vocals from Anna Haigh and were, in the words of the group, intended to be "balearic anthems". (The name "Bocca Juniors" is likely derived from the hugely popular and successful Argentine football team Boca Juniors, and possibly also from the word "bocca", which means "mouth" in Italian.)

Ariel were an indie dance band that featured Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers on drums. Ariel was formed in London by Tom and his school friends Brendan and Matt before he moved up to Manchester. Their first single was called "Sea of Beats". The band previously released this track under the band's original name "ATOM".
''Sea Of Beats'' is remixed by Justin Robertson, the break is from ''Cosmic Sea'' by Mystic Moods, a weird american funk track from 1973.
