Andrew (Marc) Berry was a resident DJ at the pre-house Hacienda, set up a Factory Records hairdressing salon - Swing in the Hacienda's dressing room which quickly became the hub of daytime Haç-tivity, and also formed an excellent band The Weeds. Also he was a close friend with Johnny Marr and Morrissey.
