Supreme Love Gods - Supreme Love Gods
SUPREME LOVE GODS
Supreme Love Gods
1992 Beggars Banquet
Notes :
Supreme Love Gods were madchester influenced band from Fresno, California, active from 1990 to 1993. Line up was: Eric Dansby (drums), Thomas Dew (voices, guitar), Tommy Joy (guitars, programming, vocals), John Wilson (bass, vocals). Additional musicians were Paulette Brown, Rici Bell, Arno.
They signed to Columbia/Sony Music in 1991 and released an EP in England entitled ''Righteous'' on One Little Indian later that year. Early the next year, the group was dropped from Columbia, and bassist Lance Carlos left the group, to be replaced by John Wilson. Their only full-length release was a self-titled album, issued on Def American in 1992. "Souled Out" was released as a single and hit No. 16 on the U.S. Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. The group toured with Ned's Atomic Dustbin, 808 State and Meat Beat Manifesto in 1993. They began working on a new album in 1993, but broke up while recording it.

Les Enfants Terribles - Another Country
LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES
Another Country
1990 Midnight Music
Notes :
One of the best records i received in the last few months
is ''Another Country'', great album by obscure late 80's / early 90's
indie rock band from Tours, France - Les Enfants Terribles.
Les
Enfants Terribles were formed in 1985 and disbanded in 1990, band
members were: Nicolas Glorion (vocal & bass), Xavier Monjanel
(guitar & backing vocal), Antoine Coinde (guitar) and Olivier
Descroix (drums).
Band
started in April 1985 under the name ''Acid Brains'', then in September
1985 changed their name to ''Another Country''. In September 1988 they
signed contract with Midnight Music, one of the best UK indie labels
from that period and they changed their name to Les Enfants Terribles.
For
this label band released two records, in 1989 their debut, 12'' single
called ''Paths Of Glory'' and one year later their amazing album
''Another Country''.
During
this period they played various live gigs around France, supporting
some of the biggest names from that period, bands like The Wild Swans,
The Beloved, The Woodentops, Xymox, 10000 Maniacs, TV Personalities, And
Also The Trees.

Eat - Unreleased Second Album 1990
EAT
Unreleased Second Album
1990 Fiction Records
Notes:
First exclusive material on the blog in 2017, unreleased second album from London indie band Eat.
I heard some rumours that this album was recorded but never officially released, but i wasn't sure that really exists until now. I tried to find more info on the net and here's what i found on wikipedia:
''The band started out playing a distinctive mixture of swamp blues, hip hop and funk, showcased on their 1989 album ''Sell Me A God''. At this time they undertook tours of Europe with The Jesus and Mary Chain and Phillip Boa. Band tensions led to the abandonment of a second album in 1990, although they toured in October on the back of an NME single of the week, "Psycho Couch". However, a combination of internal feuds ("It got to the point where we just couldn't bear to be in the same room as each other") led to a complete split and meant that the band was effectively on hiatus from 1990 to 1992. The band returned with a different line up, a completely different sound - of pop and psychedelia - and the album ''Epicure'' in 1993. Despite positive reviews, a tour in the United States with Medicine, and extensive airplay, Eat had evidently run its course, and in 1995 Dolittle left to join members of The Wonder Stuff in Weknowwhereyoulive, whilst Howard joined The Wonder Stuff's singer Miles Hunt in his new project Vent 414.''

Bedazzled - Sugarfree
BEDAZZLED
Sugarfree
1992 Columbia
Notes :
Bedazzled were a UK indie pop group active in the early 1990's. Originating from Gloucestershire and formed from the ashes of Apple Mosaic (led by Ian Dench, later of EMF), the band were signed to Columbia Records and comparable to other organ-led indie dance/pop acts of the era such as Airhead and The Dylans. After several singles (including "Summer Song" and "Teenage Mother Superior") and the 1992 album Sugarfree, they disbanded.
