This one-shot pre-code horror comic is considered scarce by collectors. Ace reprinted some of the stories from this issue in their other horror titles, such as THE HAND OF FATE and WEB OF MYSTERY. As yet, no script writers have been credited. Artwork is by Frank Giusto (aka, "Ace Baker", a name given to him because of his style that was similar to Matt Baker's), Ken Rice, Lin Streeter and Mike Sekowsky.

The caption on the page one splash page couldn't make the message any clearer: "The purpose of this book is clear, we want everyone -- friend and foe alike -- to know the utter devastation that another war will bring to all...". Some things just don't change do they?
