Featuring lots of sun-bronzed spring break skin, an exhilarating pace with snappy dialogue, and more blood gallon-to-gallon than any other film before or since, it's little wonder that this hugely-successful film garnered so much interest on the web.

Jill Haworth was an elusive beauty with a considerable impact on the more esoteric side of horror films. She appeared in just a few, but her screen presence was always unforgettable. When she died, it seemed like a lot of people either wanted to find out who she was or more about her. As a result, her obituary on Sunday, January 9, 2011 is the 3rd most-read post at MONSTER MAGAZINE WORLD.

Yvette Vickers, the blonde bombshell who torched the screen in numerous bargain-basement B-movies, met with the most ignominious of ends -- her decayed and mummified corpse was found in her home after being discovered by a neighbor who hadn't seen her for ... well, let's just say for a very long time.
The fact that she was remembered as gorgeous -- combined with her morbid end -- made for a delectable story . . . if you're a ghoul. And, apparently, many of you are, since the MONSTER MAGAZINE WORLD post dated Tuesday, May 3, 2011, entitled "R.I.P. Yvette Vickers (August 26, 1928 - ?)" is this blog's 6th most-read post since its beginning in April, 2010.
