ESTEBAN MAROTO'S FANTASY ART (PART 1)

Esteban Maroto (b. 1942, Madrid, Spain) is one of the Spanish artists that James Warren nabbed for his 'zines. His first work in the U.S. was for the mail-order only compilation of the U.K.'s New English Library's DRACULA 'zine. In November 1971, his stories began to appear in CREEPY, EERIE and VAMPIRELLA. He also worked for Marvel and DC in the 1970's and 1980's.

These images are from a collection of his fantasy and sword and sorcery paintings and drawings published by SQP Inc. in 1995.
