Dagar was an earlier entry in the race to compete with Marvel's runaway hit, CONAN THE BARBARIAN. It ran for 19 issues, lasting longer than many other publisher's sword and sorcery titles. It was created by writer Don Glut and artist Jesse Santos.
In 2011, Dark Horse released a hardcover collection of issues 1-9, with no follow-up with the rest of the issues.
