THE GREEN SLIME ARE COMING!

Released back in 2021, this diminutive action figure by Monstarz is a pretty good representation of one of the green slime from the 1968 sci-fi flick of the same name. A little small for my collection, but it wouldn't take up too much more room on a shelf.

G-G-G-GORGO!

Fans of Gorgo will be happy to hear there's a new action figure coming of the giant sea beast. Due this July from Titanic Creations is the vinyl "Aquatic Gorgo" figure, based on the color scheme from the cover of Charlton's GORGO #14 by Bill Montes and Ernie Bache. Included in the limited, 500 piece run is a baby Gorgo. With 26 points of articulation, Mother Gorgo stands 6" tall and Baby Gorgo 2.5".

NEW GILL MAN FIGURE!

Exiting news for fans of the Gill Man. Mondo is now taking orders for their new (and fantastic-looking) Creature from the Black Lagoon 1:6 scale figure.

The figure stands 13″ tall and includes interchangeable accessories to transform him into his character in REVENGE OF THE CREATURE. That's like having two figures in one, which is a nice bonus since the retail price of this guy is a monster-ous $275. Mondo is also trying a new tactic to sell their limited-edition products -- it's only available to buy for ten days. My guess is that -- despite the high price for an action figure -- it'll sell out before then.

SHOCK MONSTER!

Coming this May from Trick or Treat Studios is a nifty-looking Shock Monster action figure. It's got 20 -- count 'em 20 -- points of articulation and stands about as high as one of your Aurora monster models.

The Shock Monster, of course, was made legendary when it was designed by Keith Ward and released by Topstone way back in the 1950's. It was sold in scads of comics and monster magazines over the years with several different versions made during the time.
