A CURE FOR TARANTULA BITE

Hey, pardner! After a hard day's ride us cowboys can sure work up a thirst, right? Well, if yur lucky 'nuff, you've got someone like Sherry Monahan around the chuck wagon to mix you up one fine cuppa coffin varnish! Ya, see, along with ammonia, whiskey was the cure all for ever' kinda critter bite you can imagine. Yep, from snakes to centipedes and to that ol' hairy arachnid hisself, the tarantula, whiskey's gotta be part o' th' cure. 'Course whiskey by itself is a lot more preferable, and without the critter bite, thank you.

Whiskey's also good when ya mix it up with other libations, too. This here story from TRUE WEST (April 2000) tells ya how to make a pretty punch that was served up in 1880's Tombstone. Down the hatch, amigos!
