TALES CALCULATED TO DRIVE YOU BATS NO. 7

Today I present the 7th and final issue of Archie's horror-comedy series, TALES CALCULATED TO DRIVE YOU BATS (November 1962). If some of the stories look to you like they were drawn by Dan DeCarlo, you'd be right. DeCarlo drew "Three Eyed Mad Doctor" (a sort of spoof of the film DR. CYCLOPS), "The Spell" and "The Ark Lark". A good run of a humorous horror comic.

TALES CALCULATED TO DRIVE YOU BATS NO. 6

More spooky fun from the folks at Archie. Three anthropomorphic characters are feature this issue: Seymour the Centaur, The Mole Man and Phil the Fly. Also appearing is Rocky the Stone Man (art by Bob White) would have been right at home as a Robert Crumb character in ZAP COMIX.

George Gladir wrote the script for The Mole Man and Bob White supplied the pencils and inks. Joe Edwards wrote and illustrated Phil the Fly.
