"The album is amazing! One of the best French albums I've ever listened too, Black City Parade is fantastic as well. If you've heard one but not the other I would recommend both albums, both have a great mix of heavy songs, dark songs, slower songs, catchy songs, this is an amazing band! Even my friends who don't know any French enjoyed songs off these albums, Indochine is a wonderful band and they make amazing music."

"If I had heard of the band back in the mid 1980s, I most likely would not have been interested in them as they were not metal. Fortunately, these days I am more opened minded and I was very impressed with what I had heard on that TV show and that has led me to explore them further and become even more impressed with this band. Their brand of new wave is definitely unique, if I were to try to make a comparison to another band, the closest would be Simple Minds but I still prefer Indochine."

"When watching a show about albums on French TV, I came across a very interesting band I had never heard before, Indochine, pronounced Ondo-sheen. In the video, they were playing to a packed out arena with a lot of fans, mostly female, screaming their appreciation of the band. I came to the conclusion they were a huge sensation in their native country, which my good buddy, The Vintage Toy Adviser, has since confirmed."

Indochine - pink water three, 2005

“𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗞 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥”, a collaboration between Brian and French band Indochine, was released 15 years ago on December 19th 2005. Three different versions of the song were recorded: ”Pink water 2” is the English interpretation sung by Brian and Nicola Sirkis of Indochine. The duet in French called ”Pink water 3”. Both songs were released on Indochine's ”Alice and June” limited edition, the French one also appears on the regular album. Finally also a single was produced but the band's record labels decided to put out a version without Brian as guest vocalist. Nicola Sirkis: ”[…] his own record company refused to let us release it with him.” I don't understand this decision, but I agree with Nicola who also said: ”What is important is that the song exists, it is historic, and it comes in different versions.”
