First I have to apologise for my lack of posting... I´m finishing a job project and I´ve been really really really busy, but hey there is no rest for the wicked hehehehe. Now back to the challenge:

As you can check lately I'm in my blue period... i love the model even when a friend told me that he seems that he is whistle in an angry mood... once again i went easy on the bases cause I´m not sure what to do with the vikings... maybe i will cut them from the bases and add them on bases of a wood ship.

Well I´m done with warmaster for a while, also no more vikings, on the table I have a band of ninjas with the Ras Al´Gul and his daughter for Batman. Also all the Frostgrave posting me is moving to make a nice band with old models. Once again I´m sorry for this time of no posting. So busy... I need a beer!!!

Blimey  - my eyes are aching just counting the blighters!! Thats a lot of 10mm goodness there Ignacio and it adds up to an impressive horde alright. The blue is nice and bright as well brings them to life nicely. My favorite are the chariots... i can almost see Circus Maximus..Ragnar looks a fine character with his brooding look ... a great submission. .

IgnacioR - My First Vikings (116 Points)

Last painting of the year, sixteen viking and four berserks, I went really easy with this pack, the whole thing is a couple of colours and some washes, but I added more love to the shields. Bases are simple, no grass or anything else, maybe in the future I will add some yellow grass or something like this.

I know... There is blood, again... I'm not bloody Nacho but they look good with it. With this I´m almost in the middle of my pledge, and painting five more model I will finish my Saga vikings first 4 points. In plan for the start of the year there are multiple options, my friend are starting a league for the lord of the rings, there is this chaos warmaster army screaming to me from the boxes... Anyway I wish you all a happy new year, full of health, wealth, love and hobby!!!!

Happy New Year Nacho! You've done some lovely work on these vikings! These lads look like they are ready to make some monks' day very, very miserable. I also really like your impressionistic shield art - so evocative of what artisans would create during the period. 

I'm looking forward to seeing some Warmaster stuff as I haven't seen any of those models for years!

Well, the band is finished, after painting the first six the rest was really easy, I was not 100% convinced with the blades and after thinking about it I´ve decided to add blood, and after that they look a little bit more dangerous rats. So the total are this:

It's great to see the rest of the warband Nacho. You're right, the addition of a bit of blood and gore on their blades makes them more of a force to be reckoned with. I really like those nasty little mutant rats, and the Verminkin sporting the rotary cannon thingy looks positively deadly.

I'm scoring the rat ogre as a 40mm figure, so this lot will give you a healthy 97 points. Excellent work!
