From ScottC: Western Sheriffs [History] (110 points)

My first post of the new challenge, it was a very productive year off!

My first submission is a band of Sheriffs for an upcoming Legends of the Old West or What A Cowboy this winter.

Foot models: The Good Guys faction pack by Gunfighter's Ball - Knuckleduster. The mounted files are 3d prints by 3D Breed. All 28mm.

Elly

Chester

Arkansas

The Duke

Ol' Peg Leg

Jimmie

And a Murder of obligatory crows!

Points:

Infantry  x6 = 30

Cavalry x 4 = 40

Crows I'm counting as 15mm infantry, 10 @2 points each =  20 points

Bonus Challenge points (history) = 20 points

Total = 110

TeemuL: Very nice cowboys, some of thdm look quite familiar. A productive start indeed!

Edit: I noticed an error on points and fixed it.

From ScottC: 15mm Emperors Children (96 pts)

I felt the desire to dive back into my 15mm Emperors Children.

9 Palatine Aquilae with jumpacks and phoenix swords
5 Palatine Aquilae with jumpacks and phoenix spears
1 palatine aquilae seargent
1 palatine blade without jump pack
2 xiphon fliers
2 javelins
3 landspeeder proteus
4 assault marines with power maul

20x 15mm infantry = 40 pts
7x 15mm vehicles = 56 pts

From TeemuL: Lovely Space Marines, I guess 15mm is much better scale to play this game. Very nice colour choices and I like the purple a lot - and the reddish ground! And you have already passed your target, too. Well done!

From ScottC: Westerns & Swords and Sandals (240 points)

I painted up my Knuckleduster miniatures mounted Jesse James faction. I have a lot of their miniatures and they always seem to get better and better!

I also painted up 2 horses for my 4ground prepainted wagon and the driver.

Next up:

I painted my Crusader Gladiator miniatures that I have always dreamed of painting. Gladiator was my favorite movie growing up and holds a very high nostalgic factor for me. It was an absolutely blast to paint these guys up.

Total:

26x 28mm infantry (25 gladiators + driver) = 130 pts

7x 28mm cavalry (6 jesse james + 0.5 per horse) = 70 pts

 Bonus Challenge points x2 = 40 pts

Total: 240 pts

Let's see if I can make it to the Directors Chair...!

What great sets of figures, Scott!
