From Barks: Adeptus Administratum Hit Squad (Vogsphere) (35 points)

In the dark grimness of the far future...

Corrupt Imperial officials fear the attention of the Assassinorum. They should be just as afraid of the Officio Statisticus, the covert arm of the Adeptus Administratum.

Officio Statisticus agents prepare for an kinetic audit.

The Reader is a datavore savant who uses all Imperial records to identify your secrets and predict your next move.

Incognito mode will not hide your
entire browser history.

The Scribe flawlessly inserts new files into the bureaucratic records that will subtly steer your decision making- or affect everyone else's perceptions of you and turn you into a pariah.

The Scribe

Updating the Spreadsheet of Doom.

The Archivist is a dataphage who eliminates you from all records, making even the highest and mightiest into a hapless, living un-person.

The Archivist

Much less messy than an Astartes Strike Cruiser, the Adeptus Administratum may loan its field agents to the Holy Inquisition.

All your secrets are held in their yottabyte cylinders

I like these 3d printed figures from HeresyLab and Makers Cult. As I was painting them I enjoyed creating a backstory, loosely inspired by the Greek Fates. I think the Administratum would be a slow but terrible enemy. I welcome your ideas!

Haha! This is brilliant Barks, and a perfect entry for the Vogsphere.  The faceless Scribe and the voracious Datavore are superb, but, of course, my personal (and professional) favourite is the Archivist. As you say, it is this trio that should strike absolute terror to any heretics who would threaten the Imperium from within. Great work!

Now, I'm going to take a short break to check our HeresyLab and Makers Cult now...

From Barks: My last skullz (8 points)

I was under the misapprehension that I had several more days to go, but realised a few hours ago that I had overestimated by 48h! So, this is my final Skull Duel entry- a suitably skull-dense figure, but not enough to catch StuartL.

First, another 3D printed Servo Skull:

Then, chosen for his skulliciousness:

Five on the base, three on the helmet,
three on the gun, one on the kneepad...

Three on the backpack, and
twenty-two on the shoulderpad!

This lad has a hefty 37 Skullz! Plus the Servo Skull for 38, gives me a total of 466- more than double my total for AHPC X.

I'm claiming six points for this chap, seeing as he's a big lad and has two Nurglings; and two for the Servo Skull.

+6 to the GW side Challenge

+38 to the Skull Duel

From Barks: Come up to the lab, and see what's on the slab (39 points)

Any suggestion that these loyal Imperial scientists have been corrupted is fake news.

The scientist is a 3D print from 2nd Dynasty, and comes in a casual and action pose.

"We do what we must, because we can."

The servoskullz are 3D prints from Makers Cult. I would like some input on how you paint solid flight stands- this is pale grey; should I go brown or tan or mid grey or matt black?

The scenery is GW. I would love to fill the specimen vat with tinted resin, but am worried it will fail horribly. I have left the top loose if I get some courage in the future.  I like all the control panel greebling.

Hard to photograph!

From Barks: Grimdark Christmas (30 points)

G'day everyone, here's my seasonal first entry and Curtgeld for Challenge XI. This is my 6th Challenge! It is great to be back, although my vague plans and ambitions for the Challenge have been pleasantly derailed by the Chambers of Challenge. I have my usual mix of scifi, fantasy, and historical, in a variety of scales. I'm looking at selling a kidney and experimenting with some GW Contrast as well. I'm dabbling with SLA and FDM 3D printing as well, like this first post- I'll keep the jargon to a minimum!

I've acquired a 3D resin printer (Creality Photon S) and these are the first prints off the bed, with factory settings. Old King Swol and the Tree of the Holy Cog are free files from The Makers Cult. I added a skull to the tree top.

I like the raging Saint Nick; there's a definite pagan Hogfather vibe. He is my Curtgeld.

I was going to do a racing green and white 'tree', but inspiration struck and I went for AdMech red. The scheme reminds me of my Epic titans. It's a solid size on a 60mm base.

I am also invigilating the Skullz side challenge. My trust Skull-o-meter™, Skully McSkullface, is scouring all the entries for skullz. Skeletons, 40K, Black Brunswickers and all the 'Are we the bad guys' units- if there's a skull then it will be tallied! Can anyone come close to the reigning champion Paul O'G's 543?

Skullz: 16

Points: 10ish + 20 for the Curtgeld

Happy Christmas everyone, and stay safe!
