Esta foi uma das melhores noites de opera da minha
vida!!!
A Filha do Regimento é uma opera cómica de Donizetti e
que, ao nível de O Elixir do Amor trata, com uma simplicidade apaixonante, o
amor e as relações interhumanas.
E quem melhor que Laurent Pelly e Chantal Thomas para
nos trazer essa simplicidade, nas suas excepcionais encenações que conseguem
transpor para palco um mundo de sonho colorido e reconfortante?
Esta encenação já foi amplamente levada a palco:
Paris, Londres, Nova Iorque, Viena, Barcelona, está imortalizada em DVD e é
talvez uma das melhores alguma feitas para esta ópera.
Ouvi Juan Diego Florez ao vivo pela primeira vez e é
realmente sublime. Assim o foi no dueto de amor, na aria dos dós agudos, mas
foi na ária “Pour me rapprocher de Marie” que me encheu de extase pela paixão e
intensidade dramática com que a interpretou.
Natalie Dessay mantém-se deslumbrante e com um sentido cómico
brutal! Apesar da idade que já tem, consegue ainda parecer uma jovem em palco.
Alessandro Corbelli foi magnífico quer vocal quer
cenicamente como Sulplice.
Doris Lamprecht com credibilidade comediante e voz
adaptada ao papel de Marquise de Berkenfield.
Foi interessante ver Dame Felicity Lott no papel da
Duchesse de Crakentorp, embora pudesse ter tido um pouco mais de graça.
Marco Armiliato dirigiu de forma apaixonate e elevada.
Laurent Pelly é, sem dúvida, um dos melhores
encenadores da actualidade! Sem ele esta Filha não era o sucesso que tem sido e
o mesmo se pode dizer de Dessay e Florez - sem eles esta produção não tinha o
mesmo sucesso!
Acho difícil que faça melhor nos próximos anos!

This was one of the best nights of opera of my life!!
La Fille du Regiment is a comic opera by Donizetti and similar to
L’Elisir d’amore deals with love and human relation in a simple and captivating
way.
And who better than Laurent Pelly and Chantal Thomas to bring us this
simplicity with their exceptional scenarios that can transpose us, on stage, into a colorful and comforting dream
world?
This scenario has been widely taken to the stage: Paris, London, New
York, Vienna, Barcelona, is immortalized on DVD and is perhaps one of the best
made for this opera.
I heard Juan Diego Florez live for the first time and he is truly
sublime. And so he was in the love duet, the aria of the high Cs, but it was in
the aria "Pour me rapprocher Marie" that he filled me with ecstasy due
to the passion and dramatic intensity with which he sang it.
Natalie Dessay remains stunning and with a brutal comic sense! Despite her age
she can still look young on stage.
Alessandro Corbelli was either vocal or scenically magnificent as
Sulplice.
Doris Lamprecht is a credible comedian and her voice suited the role
of Marquise de Berkenfield perfectly.
It was interesting to see Dame Felicity Lott in the role of the Duchesse
de Crakentorp, although she could have been a little more funny.
Marco Armiliato conducted in a passionate and upleafting fashion.
Laurent Pelly is, without doubt, one of the best directors of our
time! This La Fille would never have the success it has been without him and the same can be
said of Dessay and Florez - without them this production woud not have the same
success!
I find it hard to do better in the upcoming years!
