Yes, You Can Even Find Beauty On A Grey Day
On a murky day like today, I was wondering what to photograph at lunchtime and then my attention was drawn to this tree (above). It just looked like it was awash with green.
A couple of months ago, the branches were absolutely bare and dark brown, so I thought I'd get a little closer to give you an idea of exactly how the leaves are fringed in a gentle arc.
Like I always tell budding photographers, look around and you'll always find a great angle somewhere else - normally it's a different point of the compass from where you start. Then I spotted this red wall (above) which made a great background.
And I finished up with this shot (above) just to capture a beautiful Melbourne spring sight, even as the rest of the world is gearing up for winter. I hope this photo essay brought a smile to your day.
