In A While, Crocodile

Tooth, The Whole Tooth, Nothing But The Tooth

Two British dentists have won a legal battle with French fashion giant Lacoste over the right to use a toothy crocodile on their Cheltenham surgery sign. Doctors Simon Moore and Tim Rumney said they chose a crocodile for their logo because the reptile was famous for having a mouth full of teeth. Lacoste tried to argue the logo was too similar to their own emblem, but London's Intellectual Property Office, the official body for patents, trademarks and copyrights, said consumers were unlikely to confuse the two. The dentists said Lacoste's action was like ``using a sledgehammer to crack a nut''.
