justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I used Goldwave to re-edit some track marks. NO EQ or noise reduction used. The DVD had lossy audio so the waves were encoded to MP3 320kbps using Trader's Little Helper. The tape sound shows a little age but is a damn good listen. "Cure Me Or ... Kill Me" and "Tijuana Jail" from Gilby Clarke's Pawnshop Guitars solo album.

The story is that Slash presented these songs to Axl Rose for a Guns n Roses album. Axl turned them all down saying they were no good. After the Snakepit debut album, It's 5 O'clock Somewhere, was released Axl sued Slash over the songs (too much bullshit went on with Axl). The album kicks some major ass! It also kicks Chinese Democracy's ass (I've listened to Chinese Democracy just once and then shelved it).

justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to re-edit some track marks and fix a couple drop ots. No EQ, noise eduction or remixing was needed. The waves were then encoded to MP3 320kbps because the DVD had lossy audio.

Nice sounding FM recording from Gibson Guitar's 100th Birthday Celebration. An all-star cast of guitarists, all sponsored by Gibson, throw down some great Rock & Roll in praise of the world famous six string. CD 1 is made up of The Gibson All-Stars with various vocalists, as well as the bands Skin, Thunder, and Pride & Glory. CD 2 is Paul Rodgers jamming with an exceptional cast of guitar players. I highly recommend this to everyone!!!

This is a large file set so I have split the flac into 2 parts
