justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I used Goldwave to re-edit some track marks. NO EQ or noise reduction used. The DVD had lossy audio so the waves were encoded to MP3 320kbps using Trader's Little Helper. The tape sound shows a little age but is a damn good listen. "Cure Me Or ... Kill Me" and "Tijuana Jail" from Gilby Clarke's Pawnshop Guitars solo album.
The story is that Slash presented these songs to Axl Rose for a Guns n Roses album. Axl turned them all down saying they were no good. After the Snakepit debut album, It's 5 O'clock Somewhere, was released Axl sued Slash over the songs (too much bullshit went on with Axl). The album kicks some major ass! It also kicks Chinese Democracy's ass (I've listened to Chinese Democracy just once and then shelved it).

justdave's notes:
I had to remove about 2 minutes of noise from the end of track 06 "Moanjam". After removing it I re-encoded the files to flac level 8.
Short set but any soundboard recordings from King's X are worth collecting. King's X is "One Of Those Great Should Have Been So Much Bigger" bands. They are often called a musicians band, because of the many famous fans they have. Even Slayer front man Tom Araya calls King's X one of his favorite bands and that he and the rest of Slayer listen to King's x regularly on there tour bus. There is a saying "Even God Listens To Slayer". Well there should be one that says "Even Slayer Listens To King's X." I absolutely love there blending of Hard Rock/Heavy Metal with vocal harmonies, and great hooks that would make The Beatles jealous.

Besides his work as a d.j in Baltimore, Washington, and New York City, Pete Larkin was the public address announcer for the New York Mets from 1988 to 1993.
justdave's notes:
I'm not to sure how rare Gang Of Four bootlegs are, let alone a Gang Of Four Pre-FM recording! When I got this one it was an "Oh my God, that's so cool!!" moment. This is also a Draftervoi encoding so as we all know it has to sound good!!
