Known Faults: None

Now the notes say no known faults but there are a few little cuts that didn't alter the listening experience at all. This is an awesome show and a little bit special as it starts with an acoustic set which most on this tour did not. The electric portion of the show starts with "Take It Easy" and includes "King Of Hollywood" with an extended guitar solo at the end. Other highlights are a cover of Poco's "Keep On Tryin'", "Those Shoes" and 4 Joe Walsh solo tracks. This Mike Millard Master recording should be in all Eagles fans collections!!

05 - Do You Feel Like We Do
06 - Shine On

Peter Frampton guitars, vocals
Mick Gallagher keyboards
Rick Willis bass
Mike Kellie drums

One song from the Frampton's Camel album, 3 from Winds Of Change, and 1, "Shine On", from Frampton's Humble Pie days. Cool to hear some pre-talk-box "Do You Feel Like We Do", interesting interlude. What is it about those two albums, Winds Of Change & Frampton's Camel? Something about them I just love, including what I think is one of the best cover's of "Jumping Jack Flash". If you listen close it uses the same type of mid section that Humble Pie used on "I Don't Need No Doctor". Frampton's Camel, that album has that perfect ebb and flow, mellow and heavy. Anyway I hope you enjoy the Frampton!!

It hasn't been that long since I posted the last Van Morrison show but when you're in the mood for Van Morrison there is no substitute! With his instantly recognizable voice Van Morrison is among those more rare talents that can weave in, out and between genres without blinking an eye or annoying his loyal fans. This recording is for any one who loves when a Van Morrison song comes on the radio and for those who think that there could never be enough Van Morrison on the radio.

Wes Montgomery is a huge influence on the world of guitar players. He not only inspired countless Jazz Guitar Greats like John Scofield and Pat Metheny but the world of Rock Guitar as well. Case in point Bachman-Turner Overdrive's Randy Bachman. Consider some of the more Jazzy sections of the BTO catalog. I hear Wes Montgomery in every lick from "Looking Out For Number 1". Download this great remastered recording from 1965 and enjoy some great Jazz guitar for your Jazz On Sunday Morning.

Another great Jazz show I downloaded from BigO is on offer for our own Jazz On Sunday Morning. Christian McBride is one of the Greatest Jazz Sidemen Of All Time. He has worked with so many of the World Of Jazz's Greats just soaking up influence and style that when stepping out of the shadows he creates an eclipse. This show is just such an eclipse. With bass, 2 horns (or 1 and 1 woodwind) and drums, this group comes up with some great musical moments. Below is what BigO said about this show.

What BigO Said:
Christian McBride is an American jazz bassist. He is considered a virtuoso, and is one of the most recorded musicians of his generation; he has appeared on more than 300 recordings as a sideman. He is also a five-time Grammy award winner. McBride has performed with Freddie Hubbard, McCoy Tyner, John McLaughlin, Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheny, among others.

Thanks to elgaucho for sharing the show at Dime.
