justdave's notes:
This tour is before the 1st LP was released. The band was actually called The Bill Bruford Quartet at the time. The name change to Bill Bruford's Earthworks was after the completion of the 1986 Japan Tour.

While listening to this great sounding recording I couldn't help notice some of the keyboard (or maybe electronic drum pad) sounds are used on some Yes songs as well. If you have never heard Bill Bruford's Earthworks before this is the perfect recording to begin with. If you're a fan of Earthworks this will become your new favorite recording if you don't already have it.

Meat Loaf did a two day stint at the famous Bottom Line club in New York to promote his debut album. Ticket demand was so great that matinee shows were added to both dates. Both shows were broadcast on WNEW-FM. The recordings for both shows were then used by King Biscuit Flower Hour to edit together a broadcast of their own. Here we have both complete sets from November 28th.

I've posted the shows separately so you can choose which one you want. Personally I like both, but if you only want one I'd  say the late show. It is a slightly better performance and you also get "Paradise by the Dashboard Light".

Two great performances from Meat Loaf in one sweet little package. Meat and band are in fine form here having gelled as a high energy live unit. The recordings have a very nice quality to them, a most enjoyable listen for any Meat Loaf fan.

This is a large file set so the flac is split into 2 parts both parts neded to unzip
