New to my Auburn fleet this year is this #576 Police Car in olive drab. What I liked about Auburn was that they had a separate line of obvious military vehicles like tanks and halftracks, etc., but then they offered several civilian type vehicles in olive drab to go along with the military toys. These aren't marked as 'Army' in any way, but any kid with imagination back in the day knew just what to use them for and this is a great Military Police car! My sample is a tad rough and both antennas are broken off but I'm okay with it cuz I got it at a good price. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Auburn #576 Police Car - Red SP
Here's another Auburn toy from that set I got recently, the #576 Police Car. I've blogged these in blue and orange so it was neat to get one in red. My police force is very colorful LOL. Often times the two antenna's on the rear of the car are broken off so getting one of these intact is always a bonus. The car measures 4 1/2" (11.43cm) L x 1 3/4" (4.44cm) W x 1 1/2" (3.81cm) H.Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Auburn #576 Police Car - Orange
Today on Fire Engine and Emergency Vehicle Friday we feature, well, a re-run of sorts. It's the same Police Car as featured n 8 April but this time in orange. When purchasing these, look for both rear fender antennas to be present as they are often broken off. The silver detailing on our featured car is still largely intact which is always a plus as it is fairly easy to rub off - especially when trying to clean it. Enjoy!
Here's a Marx 35m Policeman standing next to the Police Car for comparison
