Eastwood Automobilia / Ertl 1/43 Diecast '30 Chevy Lionel Delivery Truck - Pt 2

This is the second vehicle in the, as yet unidentified set, from Eastwood Automobilia, an Ertl 1930 Chevy Panel Van lettered for  Lionel Service Department. It measures 3 1/2" (8.89cm) L x 1 1/2" (3.81cm) W x 1 5/8" (4.12cm) H. Under the chassis I noticed it says, "Number Seven In A Series Of Vintage Vehicles From Ertl". Now, as I don't have any catalogs from Eastwood Automobilia or Ertl I can't say what vehicles preceeded this one. My sample has a split left rear tire but is still a nice oldtimer truck to showcase on the train layout. Enjoy! Opa Fritza and Oma Bettina

Eastwood Automobilia / Ertl 1/43 Diecast '30 Chevy Lionel Delivery Trucks - Pt 1

This next set is another of Eastwood Automobilia's offering and contains two Ertl Chevy trucks. The first photo below was culled from eBay and shows the same type of box used for other sets. Unfortunately I don't know what the set number is as my box is long since gone. The first of the two trucks we'll be looking at is the 1930 Chevrolet Delivery Truck lettered for Lionel Electric Trains. It measures 4 5/8" (11.74cm) L x 2" (5.08cm) W x 2 1/4" (5.71cm) H. Enjoy! Ertl 1/43 Scale Diecast 1930 Ford Ractor Trailer REA - Lionel Delivery Truck

"I've been working on the railroad, all the live-long day..."  My theme song of late. All my 'me' time lately has been spent trying to get the new layout up and running. It's not complete of course but at least I can run trains on it. The smaller Edge of Town layout that I've featured here is great for taking photos on and running small consist's but the new layout let's me get out some of the longer trains and put them through their paces.

Today we're back to featuring diecast Lionel vehicles, specifically this 1930 Ford tractor-trailer combination from Ertl made in 1998. It measures 8" (20.32cm) L x 2 1/4" (5.71cm) W x 2 5/8" (6.66cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
