Dolgencorp LLC Police Rescue Boat #02886

The second of two boats I picked up at the Dollar General store near my house. This would have made for a great accessory had I went ahead with my initial planes for included a stretch of the Milwaukee River flowing through the downtown area of my train layout. As it is though, there just wasn't any room left on the layout for a scene like that. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

Dolgencorp LLC Coast Guard Rescue Boat #08363

Here's a cool boat I picked up about 4-5 years ago at the Dollar General store down the block from my house. These photos were taken just a few days ago, so this thing is still in its original packaging. When building my Milwaukee North Western train layout, I had initially planned on simulating the Milwaukee River which intersects Wisconsin Ave. in the downtown area at a right angle. These boat would have been perfect for such a scene. Alas, I just didn't have room on my layout for that feature so the boats remain ensconced in there paper and plastic cocoons. The boat measures: 9.25" (23.49cm) L x 2.875" (7.30cm) W x 3.5" (8.89cm) H. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

MTH-Railking #30-11056 Cops & Robbers Figures

In the overall theme of 'fire and emergency' we include police as well as the bad guys! This great little set by RailKing has seven pieces:

-Cop directing traffic

-Cop writing a citation

-Cop standing

-Cop chasing the bad guys

-Robber running with sack of money he won't be able to spend (cuz he'll get caught)

-Robber handcuffed and awaiting his fate

-Park bench for caught robber to meditate on the error of his ways ("Where did I go wrong?")

Deluxe Reading 60mm Ringhand Firemen

Going through old photos again...

For years I was posting posting a ton of fire and emergency vehicles and toys. While my collecting has almost stopped, every now-&-then I still pick up a piece. Also too, every now-&-then I come across photos that should have been posted years ago but never were. This is one of them. These were bought a few years ago when I was hot and heavy into acquiring MPC and Andy Gard 60mm ringhand figures. The first photo below is the result of several job lots purchased over a year's time. While I'm attributing these to Deluxe Reading, they may have been made by another manufacturer for inclusion into Deluxe Reading fire and emergency playsets. Be Blessed and Relish Life! Ed

The only four poses I'm aware of.
