Just like The Flintstones in which Fred's boss Mr. Slate played a big role in the series, so did George Jetson's boss Mr. Spacely, a short and short-tempered type who's schemes to increase business always seem to fail and who continuously blames George. But who always wins in the end? George of course (hey - it's in the script). No off-beat, quirky TV family is complete without a gregarious little kid, usually but not always a boy, but in The Jetsons case it was in fact a boy and that boy was Elroy who we feature today as one of Wendy's Special Edition Space Vehicles from 1989 (whew, all of that in one sentence). The Jetsons had a teenage daughter, Judy, who was there from the very first unlike the Flintstones who wouldn't see Pebbles grow up on TV for many years. Judy is a typical teenage girl of 2062 who likes clothes, hanging out with friends, and writing in her digital diary!
