Britains (First Gear) Set No. 52007 1/32 Scale WWII German Infantry - Pt 7 No. FG881

Finally, the last of the six Britains/First Gear WWII German Infantry. I have to wonder if the tooling for the remaining original figures survived and if so, will they too be released? Overall I do like the figures because they provide the figure collector with another uniform color combination. The biggest detractor is their gloss finish and stickiness. A spray coat of clear flat should solve both problems but I haven't yet tried it (heck I'll probably just leave them in their original finish). Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Britains (First Gear) Set No. 52007 1/32 Scale WWII German Infantry - Pt 6 No. FG880

This fifth figure in Britains/First Gear WWII German Infantry has a couple of changes from the original. There is no paper overlay on the rear of the radio set imitating radio controls. Rather they added 3D details to give it more realism and a ball has been added to the top of the antenna. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Britains (First Gear) Set No. 52007 1/32 Scale WWII German Infantry - Pt 4 No. FG878

The third offering in the Britains/First Gear German Infantry is the officer holding map originally one of the Series 2 figures. Another difference between the old and new figures is the eyes - the new guys got eyes! Little dots now populate the blank faces of guys-gone-by. Also there are no more paper overlays as used on the originals. For example, the officer is holding a map which, on the original, is a nice little piece of paper printed with what is clearly a map on it. The new figure looks like he's holding a painted on tic-tac-toe game. Very tacky! Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
