Great-tailed Grackle - Las Vegas, NV

Here's some shots Bettina took of Great-tailed Grackles (sometimes called Common Grackles or Mexican Grackles) with the new Nikon Coolpix L840 camera. This tree is located about 100+ yards/meters behind our house and has been Grackle Haven for as long as we can remember. The first photo shows how nice the photos turn out when you're able to hold the camera steady. Bettina doesn't like using a tripod so often times the photos are blurry when the subject is zoomed in.
