LOD Santa's Workshop

This is our final look at LOD Enterprises Christmas line-up. They essentially make two sets of figures which are available painted or unpainted. Then they offer this wonderful Santa's Workshop made of foam. It measures: 10" (25.40cm) W x 10" (25.40cm) D x 10.5" (26.67cm) H and has a removable roof for storage of the figures. There is floor board detailing, however, because the windows are sealed, it's a bit of a lost detail. The design of the Workshop resembles a Russian Dacha. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

TRAIN TIME: 2023 Christmas Train Layout - Pt 3b K-Line #K-012103A North Pole Village (2004) #K-401106 Santa's Workshop

The second building we're covering from K-Line's North Pole Village set is Santa's Workshop - aka the old Marx Factory! I love the colors K-Line used for this thing as well as the Santa's Workshop graphics rubber-stamped on the building side. All of the other graphics are sticker's. K-Line chose to highlight the window scenes by having them placed in front of the window panes vs. behind them. You can, of course, cut acetate to fit behind the windows and apply the stickers to that, but then you wouldn't be able to see all the fun pictures. The building has all the original accessories as the original Marx factory, but no figures. As a fatter-of-mact, none of K-Line's Christmas villages have figures. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

The Santa's Workshop sign on the building front is a sticker

The Santa's Workshop sign on the building side is a stamped-on graphic. I love the whimsical font!
