This ambulance is a nice addition to the Army mini-trucks and is much closer to HO scale or 1/72 scale than the soft plastic Kleeware knock-offs I had been posting which were only 2" (5.08cm) L. I don't know what actual prototype vehicle this was modeled after - and I really don't feel like trying to research it - sorry, sometimes I just get too tired to expand on my efforts (old age)! The red cross on the roof of the vehicle is worn but still visible after all these years. The ambulance measures: 3" (7.62cm) L x 1" (2.54cm) W x 1.125" (2.85cm) H. I mentioned in the previous post that this batch of vehicles I bought had issues. This truck has a wonky left side and rear end - as if it had been exposed to heat. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Plasticville Ambulance - Yellow HP
I picked up this Plasticville Ambulance on the cheap last year. I have no books on P-Ville so I don't have any item numbers associated with it, however it's a nice little piece to add to the Fire & Emergency fleet. It's rather a deep yellow, almost orange when seen up close and personal and is typical of the toy companies trend for making things in bright, garish colors. It measures: 4.125" (10.47cm) L x 1.25" (3.17cm) W x 1.375" (3.49cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

American Heritage Models 1/43 Scale Diecast 1937 Studebaker Ambulance
I'm in the middle of a couple of projects right now, but thought you might enjoy seeing this American Heritage Models ambulance I bought for the fire scene on my train layout. It's funny how they make this thing with an opening hood with an engine inside, but the real action is in the back - where the patients are loaded/unloaded - and yet they didn't design an opening door to the rear deck. Oh well, it is what it are! Enjoy! Opa Fritz
