Banner Equipment Hauler (red-yellow) with Tractor (OD) - HP

Here's another set of photos taken years ago - 2018 to be precise - that were on my computer and hadn't even been edited.

Many years ago I had been really hot-&-heavy into collecting vehicles of all kinds and in all sizes and scales. Banner Plastics had put out a series of construction and military vehicles in the '50s that I found fascinating at the time. My goal was to find an all olive drab equipment hauler with olive drab tractor that would fit in with my military collection but then I just sort of got distracted and no longer pursued it. I did end up with an all grass green hauler which was posted here on 6 Jan 2017. Then, sometime after that, I acquired the hauler we'll look at today with the red tractor and yellow trailer. I took the OD tractor that was already in the collection and plopped it on top of the trailer and voilà, a complete set. The hauler measures 9 1/2" (24.13cm) L x 1 1/2" (3.81cm) W x 2" (5.08cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Banner Equipment Hauler - Light Green HP

Here's a nifty Equipment Hauler from Banner. Made from 1949 to the mid-1950s and measuring  9 1/4" (23.49cm) L x 1 1/2" (3.81cm) W x 2" (5.08cm) H, this truck came in a variety of colors and included one of several loads like a boat, steam roller, and tractor. For the blog it's also a nice segue into other subjects because as you'll see in the last set of photos we have it hauling a U.S. Army Tractor blogged back on Dec 12, 2016. This is not at all an unusual mash-up as the military extensively uses contractor's to haul loads and bringing in any kind of heavy equipment to a construction site would not be uncommon. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

The green you see in the below photo is closer to the correct color than that shown above due to the camera's idiosyncrasies.

As shown in the photos below the tractor is a perfect fit for the Equipment Hauler

When I bought the truck it came with a Banner Dirt Hauler and as you can see, the Dirt Hauler doesn't really fit well on the trailer. We'll cover the Dirt Hauler in another post
