Mattel Hot Wheels #X1629-09A0D The Flintstones Flintmobile (2013)

I have another bunch of Ferrero Kinder Surprise Egg Flintstones figures to post but I need to edit the photos first. In the meantime, howz about looking at this nice little Hot Wheels Flintmobile from 2013 which measures 2" (5,08cm) L x 1" (2,54cm)W x 1.375" (3.49cm) H. The last time I posted a Hot Wheels Flintmobile was back in 2011 and it was a mail-in Fruity pebbles cereal premium.

Today's offering is a bit plainer, less detailed, overall.
I have some nice Mexican cereal premium Flintstones figures that might be a good match in size to this, but I'll have to drag them out and compare them.

Mattel 2023 #HVJ40-HXD63 Hot Wheels 1/64 Scale Diecast 1941 Batmobile

Prior to this, the last Batmobile's posted here on the blog were several Jada 1/43 scale issues I bought during the lockdown when they were available at Target stores and those got posted in July 2023. Fast forward to a couple of months ago when these were mentioned by Paul A. on the Moonbase Central blog. Paul, who lives in New Zealand, sent in photos of his latest acquisition and I'm thinking, "When the heck did Mattel make this?" 😃 Paul explained how they made two versions of this car last year, an expensive one with figures for Comic Con and this lower priced version sans figures. After looking up the prices for the Comic Con version (ca$100 - $120) I decided this was just fine at around $15 or so. I like '30s and '40s style cars anyway as well as those originally drawn for Batman back in the day - before he got all fancy and hi-tech - so this was a natural. A car like this would fit in perfectly with the next Batman post coming tomorrow! (ohhh the suspense 😄). Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Mattel The Flintstones Motorized Cave Cars #65907 The Flintmobile

As time permits I'm gonna be posting a whole slew of Flintstone Flintmobile's or Flivver's (they tend to be referred to by both names). Digging into the big box of Flintstones stuff I came across a whole bunch of these little gems and have slowly-but-surely been taking pics of them. Some of them will be going up for sale on eBay but some are keepers - for now :-)

Way back in Auig of 2013 I posted this 'The Flintsones' movie tie-in version of the Flintmobile with a likeness of John Goodman behind the wheel, but the post only showed the mint-on-card toy. Well, that toy got sold off years ago but somewhere along the line I ended up with a loose example and now is as good a time as any to present it. The toy measures 4.25" (10.70cm) L x 2.75" (6.98cm) H with a friction motor. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
