SunnySide ('SS' - China) No. 312 (Chassis No. SS-302-4) Top Up - Red - Mercedes? Last Post For the 'Antique Classic 3' Set!

YAY!! We finally crossed the finish line for the cars in the 'Antique Classic 3' set and I am totally glad LOL Now, that's fine and all, but we're not quite through with SunnySide vehicles just yet. I still have two cars and three busses to post so - if I'm up to it this week - we should be finished by this coming Friday. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

SunnySide ('SS' - China) No. 312 (Chassis No. SS-302-4) Top Down - Blue - Mercedes?

I've had several of these cars over the years and still have a loose one in The Cave - but in better shape. I'm leaning towards this car possibly being a Mercedes but, quite frankly, just haven't done any further research. Those two exhausts pipes coming out of the passenger side engine compartment - but no pipes on the driver's side - are a good indicator, but I just haven't looked on-line yet. 

This particular car has something interesting on the chassis. Just below the chassis number it has: "S=1/38" Is that to mean it's 1/38th scale?

The Jag on the far right does appear a bit bigger in scale when compared to the other two however...

...to me the Mercedes(?) looks just right next to the 1/43 scale Chevy
