Mojo No. 1346733 Fire Dragon - Diorama 1

A few weeks back I got to thinking of different scenarios I could place my dragons in. It came to mind that the diorama base built for my spaceships is really nothing more than a mountain or mountain side. Given that, I set up this Mojo Fire dragon and photographed him at a few different angles. Then, using Photoshop, I placed a Las Vegas sunset photo taken by Bettina in the background. I came up with several photos I liked which will appear in separate posts. Hope you Enjoy! as well. Opa Fritz

Mojo Steel Dragon In Tunnel - Playing With My Dragons Again

Alright, so maybe I don't actually play with the dragons, but at my age, getting on the computer and piddling around with Photoshop counts as 'play' LOL. This dragon was posted waaay back in Oct 2019. (hmmm, Oct 2019 - Pre-COVID, seems like an eternity now!) Anywho, I was going through my photos this past month to see if any could be freshened up somehow. Having always wanted to build a cave for my beasties I settled on just adding the dragon to a tunnel pic I already had. Good 'nuff - Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Mojo No. 1346733 Fire Dragon

Here's a another dragon I bought at Hobby Lobby. The sculpting 'flows' a bit better in this one than in the Steel Dragon featured yesterday. In point of fact I like the coloring on both of them and this guy looks like he's on fire inside with his skin having the appearance of a just barely cooled lava flow! It measures 8 7/8" (22.54cm) L x 5 1/4" (13.33cm)  wingspan x 4 3/4" (12.06cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Mojo No. 1023019 Steel Dragon

I went to Hobby Lobby for the first time a few months back and thought it was okay overall but I kind of knew what to expect after reading so many comments about it on facebook. For those of you familiar with these stores it's kind of like Michael's on steroids! It's not the kind of hobby shop I identify with when speaking about 'hobby shops' - the type that specializes in either trains or model kits or a blend of models, not an arts and crafts store. Anywho, Hobby Lobby carries a few dragons made by a company called Mojo. They're nice but not nearly up to the standards of Safari. This Steel Dragon for instance has nice sculpting of the neck, head, legs, and tail but the torso is boxy and the wings are very definitely separate, awkward appearing plug-ins. It measures 5 3/4" (14.60cm) L x 3 1/2" (*.89cm) wingspan x 5 3/4" (14.60cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
