Brumberger Little Red School House - Tin-Litho Coin Bank Redux

The Brumberger Little Red School House was one of our first posts back in October of 2010. Back then I was just taking a couple of pics from maybe two sides of the toy - nothing much. Since then of course I've settled into a series of multi-angle photos which gives a tad more 'eye candy' for the collector. I sold this a couple of months ago but before I did I took this updates series of photos. The building measures 6 1/2" (15.87cm) L x 6" (15.24cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina   

Brumberger Little Red Schoolhouse Coin Bank

Today we bring you the Brumberger Little Red School House Coin Bank.  Now, quite frankly, I know nothing about Brumberger and am not sure when this bank came out.  It has that '50/'60s feel to it, possibly mid-to-late 1950s as it's made from a nice heavy gauge steel.  The bank itself is suitably sized for use on any 3-rail O-gauge tinplate layout and there's sufficient enough detail to make it look at home even on a non-tinplate layout.  Enjoy!
