Ummm, remember a few months back when we were posting all those diecast Lionel City / Lionelville vehicles? Seems I forgot one :-) Okay, well here it is now! The truck was made by Road Champs for Eastwood Automobilia back in 1995. The Chevrolet C-3100 was made from 1947-53 and was Chevy's first major re-design effort after World War II and was part of their Advance Design series. The toy measures 5" (12.7cm) Lx 1 7/8" (4.76cm) W x 1 5/8" (4.12cm) H and has opening doors on the cab and opening tailgate. It comes with three railroad crossbucks and a diecast figure (which I've never taken out of the package). Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Road Champs 1/43 Diecast 1935 Ford Lionel Pick-Up Truck
Well folks, we are almost done with diecast Lionel vehicles, at least until I buy another one :-) There's one more to go after this one. This one, like the past few I've posted, no longer has the box or packaging it came in but it too has weathered storage quite well. Along with the emergency vehicles this is one of my favorites and the one which convinced me not to sell off my entire collection of Lionel cars and trucks. I decide to get rid of 'Lionel City' stuff and keep most of the 'Lionelville' stuff. Still, sooner or later I'm gonna have to get rid of even the Lionelville doo-dads, but for now they're keepers. This truck has operating doors and tailgate and measures 4 1/8" (10.47cm) L x 1 5/8" (4.12cm) W x 1 1/2" (3.81cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
