It turns out that the last Spin Master wand I'll be posting is actually the first one in the series. Oh well, as I didn't buy the five wands in the series all at once, I photographed them and posted them a bit out of order. Like Dumbledore's Elder Wand which I posted last week, this one to measures 11.75"L (29.84cm).

Our trip to the Spirit Halloween store netted a couple of nice things like this Luna Lovegood wand. I'm not prepared to be buying all the wands that are available from the series, but I'm okay with a few and while the Spirit Halloween brick-&-mortar store will be closing shortly, they do sell on-line should I want to buy more. Soooo, why did I pick Looney Lovegood's wand? It was a good tie-in with the Lego Carriage and Thestrals set I got as a present from my grand daughter which had figures of Harry Potter, and Luna Lovegood. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
Well, well, well, it appears there's a lot of catching up to do with my posts huh? I took the grand daughter to Target the other week and they had some Harry Potter items as part of their Halloween toys and decorations. I wish I'd had more $$$ to spend but I did pick up a few things like this Harry Potter wand. I can hear you asking, "Ed! What the heck are you going to do with a harry Potter wand? You can't run it around on your train layout!" My answer, "Ummmm, I don't know." 😆😆 Enjoy! Opa Fritz
Here's another piece of my small collection given to me as a Christmas present last year - THE ELDER Wand. A present from my eldest daughter, who 's not a Harry Potter follower, she managed to pick the best wand of all those made from the movies. Probably because the box had a picture of an old guy (Albus Dumbledore) on it! LOL The wand measures 15 3/4" (40cm) L and made of cold cast resin. Going through The Noble Collection catalog included with the wand, there are stands available for displaying the wands. I'm not sure how far this whole Harry Potter thing is going to go so I'll hold off on buying any of those for now. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
